The struggle

When you wanna go back to the pool but there's a Friday Night Lights marathon on.

Now that I'm on a tight budget there are a lot of decisions to be made. Yesterday at the grocery store I wanted wine but found the cheapest bottle I could for $4 and I also needed a case of water which was also $4. My thought process was as follows... Ugh I don't want to spend $8!! Which one should I pick? What would Jesus do? Hm well Jesus did turn water into wine so I'll get the wine.

Hey friends. Long time no talk. Nick and I have broken up. I'm still living at his house while I get everything together (aka find a second job so I'm not poor) to get my own apartment. It is nothing like New Girl where living with your ex is super fun and not awkward. That's about all I have for yall currently

I think my mom is starting to slowly lose her mind. Friday night I explain to her that my plans for Saturday morning were to get my hair done. She obviously was not paying attention to a word I was saying because I leave my hair appointment Saturday morning with 6 missed calls and voicemails from her crying and panicking. I call her back and she says "OH THANK GOD.. All I could think was that someone broke in and murdered you and Nick and that the police were trying to find me." Me - um chill out I told you I was going get my hair done. She the proceeds to tell me how at 2 in the morning she received a text from my sister (a text that was literally just a bunch of letters obviously accidental) and she thought that my sister was trying to say that someone drugged her so she calls my sister at like 5 am and wakes up her and all her friends. -___-

Finally!!! I think this is all thanks to the fit I threw for weeks last year.

So I haven't updated in a while and just wanted everyone to know that I still exist. Last weekend made 4 months of living in Houston. I still think it was a great decision and am very happy here. House is great. Neighborhood is great. Job is great and I have made a few friends. I don't post much but I am still here reading everyone's stuff. It is fall so I'm mostly too involved in all of my fall tv shows to blog during the week.

This came in the mail right after I spent $118 for ONE MONTH of birth control. Perfect timing since life is too expensive to go on.

I spent half of my Saturday in the emergency room. I woke up at about 7:30 and when I stretched to roll over in the bed I felt the most intense pain I have ever felt in my life on the left side of my lower back. I limped to the bathroom and next thing I know I'm on the floor and Nick is in my face freaking out saying my name. When I open my eyes he tells me not to freak out before telling me I sat down on the toilet then passed out and fell forward flat on my face. I tell him about my pain and we decide to head to the hospital. 4 hours, urine test, blood tests, a cat scan and an ultrasound later and we find out that I had a cyst on my left ovary that ruptured which cause the intense pain which caused me to pass out. A scary day which ruined my entire weekend and now has me stuck on the couch nauseated from the pain pills and other medicine. But the outcome could have been worse so I'll try to look at the bright side.
