Stuart Immonen 1998: Superman Villains | Secret Files & Origins (Inker: José Marzán, Jr.)

Much as in Action Comics #741, Immonen used his position as writer to give himself the opportunity to provide stylistic breaks from traditional superhero artwork. This time around, with the conceit of Luthor telling his child the story of Superman’s adversaries, he gives us some gorgeous Winsor McCay-influenced pages. Ambitious and delicious!

Full set of the latest commissioned drawings. Redesigns (with the exception of Dust and Magneto) were made by @pryce14 and drawn by me.  This group is supposed to kind of be an X-Force or Extinction style of team. Emma Frost, Magik, Dust, Xorn, Chamber, Magneto, Iceman, Elixir.

Listen.  I love my followers and my mutuals dearly.  You know how occasionally I post something like ‘every Jew on this site has a list in their head of who reblogs what and who ignores posts about Jews’?  I’m talking about this shit.  I have been seeing things on my dash about the situation of Jews in France for over a year, but it’s coming from other Jews 99% of the time.  Please stop ignoring this.  This is literally history repeating itself and we can’t be the only ones calling it out again.
