Vetted fundraiser masterpost-masterpost.

This is a collection of links to various posts concerning fundraisers I've vetted and instructions on how to submit fundraisers to me. These are primarily ones for Ghazzan families although some fundraisers for Sudanese families are also listed (I'm more familiar with my own country's politics and dialect and am more capable of vetting fundraisers for Palestinians as a result). Each post will have a time stamp indicating the latest date of update. And fundraisers will have colour-coded disclaimers according to the particularities of their case.

I know that people do not like clicking on links or navigating between posts, but please actually look through these posts and choose a fundraiser to donate to. Please.

Instructions on how to submit a fundraiser. (for those not Ghazzan) تعليمات لتقديم طلب توثيق و نشر حملات التبرعات الخاصة بالغزاويين و عائلاتهم (للغزاويين فقط) سأنشر البوست قريبا

If you make a post slightly critical of a certain piece of mainstream media you will get people whose emotional support media it is posting at you like they're doing a power of friendship speech in a shōnen show

"You say that D&D isn't gay... And maybe you're right. Maybe it is simply a product made by a company that cares only for profit and cynically marketed through appeals to identity... But it brought me and my friends together! And I won't sit here and let you disparage the bad company's product by pointing out that it's not gay!!!" gets into a giant robot made of D&D products while wielding a huge asterisk that says "I don't support Wizards of the Coast the company"

What I'm getting from this is that I should commit to the bit and phrase my criticism of popular media ttrpgs more in the tone of Vegeta, Team Rocket, and Seto Kaiba.

"Ohohohoho your set of B list improv actors and voice artists have put together a little let's play? Am I supposed to be impressed? Even with all their corporate sponsored pride merchandise and agressive marketing featuring their single transfem NPC they couldn't be half as gay as this one page Itch Dot Eye Oh game written during a poorly organized queer game jam attended by six people. Oh, and did I mention... it's GMless"

very controversial opinion here, but sometimes customer service workers are the problem 😶

no, you shouldn't be expected to be polite to customers because they're customers. you should be expected to be polite to customers because they are people

like, a person with a stutter trying to order or an old lady asking you for help with a chair is not rude customer behavior. you are not excused for being nasty to them because you work in customer service

drew this to try to get back into the flow of drawing just for the sake of it.

Is this kind of joke still relevant

[ID: 3 full color digital drawings forming a comic primarily featuring harry du bois and kim kitsuragi from disco elysium.

1: harry approaches kim with a nervous expression, sweat on his forehead. he says, "Kim...! Kim!" (the second being larger rext to indicate volume). Kim looks up from his notepad, replying, "Yes?"

2: the viewer takes kim's point of view, harry looking at him. his worried expression is even more emphasized, with brows furrowed. he motions vaguely with his hands, saying, "Kim, adding to my badge and gun... I've seemed to also lost my *updog* as well!" updog is in all caps and has an arrow next to it, reading, "Just learned from Cuno". at the bottom of the page is a disco elysium formatted text line, reading, "Drama [Medium : Success] - Your distressed facade is *flawless* sire. He will surely fall for it."

3: Kim, holding his pen to his lip, adopting a mildly concerned look. he says, "... My God, Detective! Please tell me you haven't lost your *sukon* too!" a secondary speech bubble, indicated to be harry, reads, "Hah! Noth- Wait, huh? What's *sukon*?"

4: a close up of kim, the background darkened dramatically. he's smirking, his pen still held up, but now positioned away from his face. in the upper left corner, and in the game's format, text reads, "Kim Kitsuragi - The lieutenant's expression shifts suddenly - he smiles. Empathy - Unlike the smiles he secretly gives you when thibgs go well. Rhetoric - He knows something you don't. Encyclopedia - Huh? What? What *don't* we know?" in the lower right corner, more text, "Cuno - in the background, Cuno seems to share the same knowledge, he bursts out laughing, anticipating." near the second bit of text is a framed drawing of Cuno tearing up laughing with an exclamation point near him. end ID]

What's funny to me about the witch in the alps tweet is that like. Base premise that this is the opening to a narrative heavy game that uses a unique dice based skill check system with a temporal component is perfectly fine. But it's so easy to dog on because getting to there from haunted failure of an alcoholic cop in a post revolution world falling apart at the seams is wild.
