We all love the "becoming the very thing you sought to destroy," trope. but I have a growing fondness for "destroying the very thing you sought to become"

“It cannot be that some few benefit economically while polluting the drinking water for millions of others, and causing serious health problems,” says Dr Jane Muncke, managing director of the Food Packing Foundation in Zurich who wasn’t involved in the study.

“The vast amounts that it will cost to reduce PFAS in drinking water to levels that are safe, based on current scientific understanding, need to be paid by the industry producing and using these toxic chemicals.”

my one skill is expertly manipulating the shape of the eggs I’m cooking so that they fit perfectly onto my toast every time

Bow down to your king

I can’t stop outdoing myself

Remember that post? The one that said “what if we all have super powers but they’re so mundane we don’t realize?” That post? This is proof that post was right

You know why I think Loid can't pick up on Yor's deal?

This man is insane at Insight checks. Motive? He can smell it a mile off.

Unfortunately Yor is Actually Sincere about all her nonsense. She doesn't realize she's superhuman strong, so she doesn't hide it - and Loid doesn't sense a deception. Her motivation for murder is exactly what she's been telling Loid all along: working hard to support her brother. No deception spotted!

I mean, this does make it all the funnier when he can't pick up when she's going "yes this is definitely just tomato juice haha!!!", but by then she's gained his trust.

Silm fans will be like "omg this is so Blorbondur" and then you look up who Blorbondur and it's the maternal uncle of someone who was mentioned in one sentence that only appears in a rough draft of the text
