Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.-- Psalm 112:6-8 ((Indie RP for Hershel Greene. Obviously AU from midseason finale. Hershel was able to escape The Governor amidst the madness. HE LIVES ON FOREVER HERE. Please read the guidelines before interacting.))

I'm here, but don't particularly feel like doing drafts. You can always come bother Hershel in the ask, tag us in something random, otherwise we may just lurk and send people memes. Don't be surprised if a wild Hershel shows up in your ask.

Lottie stared at the stranger for a few moments. It was strangeโ€ฆhe reminded her of her father. Putting someone elseโ€™s needs before his own, even for a stranger. โ€œF-Foodโ€ฆor waterโ€ฆi-if you got any tโ€™ spareโ€ฆโ€ย

Unfortunately, he didn't have much on him right now aside from water. He had only come out here to pick berries for the sick inside the prison. He held out the only water bottle he had on him at the moment, "This is all I have right now, but you look like you need it more than I do. Please... take it." He nodded with a small smile, "These berries that I'm pickin' here are edible too." Hershel looked the woman over, and felt no need to not trust her. She just seemed like a young woman who genuinely needed help. "I'm Hershel. Can I ask your name?"

She let out a soft breath as she realized the man before her was, in fact, alive. Miller lowered the gun, giving him a apologetic look. โ€œSorryโ€ฆSorryโ€ฆI thought you wereโ€ฆyou knowโ€ฆEven then, I wasnโ€™t sure if I was going to shootโ€ฆโ€ She sighed softly, putting the gun back into its holster. โ€œSorryโ€ฆagainโ€ฆโ€

He shook his head as she began to apologize; he glad to see she seemed to be a reasonable person. "Don't be sorry. I understand. We all have our guard up these days, don't we?" He offered the woman a smile. "Can I ask... do you have a group?"
