Mandy’s baka guide to draw Japanese sleeves or something
Because I know Japanese clothing is a bitch to draw. Especially the sleeves… getting the folds right is a pain in the rear end and I’ve gotten headaches trying to get it right.
Hakuouki has pretty much forced me to sit around studying Japanese clothing for hours trying to understand the movement and folds of the material. It’s hard because generally Japanese clothing loosely fits the body or has so many layers it disguises the frame, making it difficult to fit over the anatomy and look right.
So here is my quickly drawn, useless guide that might be helpful? Sorry for the lack of explanation SOBS I don’t know how to explain art for shit. I’m not even sure if this is right so please forgive me for inaccuracies… I’m still learning QuQ
