2016 and the future of Ask Artemis and Friends

Sorry, I thought I’d put a warning here because I got a lot more whiny then I intended to lol.

I have a predetermined story written out for this blog. I put a lot of work into it. I mean A LOT of work. But, the problem is I can’t ever seem to find the motivation to ever work on it.

I forced myself to do the last 2 updates and I really didn’t like how it came out, even though that was just for a side update. It was supposed to be a small thing that was done by Halloween 2014. At the rate I’m going I’m not sure if I can finish it Halloween 2016. These types of things just don’t seem to be my kind of thing. Unless its one image, and even then I struggle with it. Trying to draw a story out is a little too ambitious right now. Because of that, I’m thinking about closing down this blog and the blogs associated with it.  I forget often times to go on here, and I haven’t signed into this account until today since I posted the last update, lol. I’d rather not let the story I had go to waste, but I guess I could just write it if I really felt like bringing it up again.

So, if this blog does go down, I’ll advertise my other blogs for you guys so if you’re interested in my art still you have there to go to.

(This was supposed to have two panels but I feel like this one is enough. I just wanted to get the update out because I haven’t in such a long time. Dragonheart to the rescue ;~;)

I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with this blog just yet. Something in show kinda makes one of my ideas outdated and unoriginal. Plus, still dealing with the whole motivation to continue this blog thing. 

But, in the meantime, I’m always active on my mod blog, Musical-medic. And, if you’re really just a fan of my art you can follow my art bloc artemisthemedic for that. 

This blog is closed indefinitely.

I have no inspiration or will to continue it, and all it’s doing is stressing me out.

I feel like I have to update it, but the truth is the only people really interested or seeing what I post here are my friends. Which, I love that they do like and reblog it, and love them dearly, but I hope that they and you will understand that I’m struggling to keep motivated with art as a whole right now, and I don’t need a silly ask blog that only my friends pay attention to really to stress me. Not that I don’t appreciate them or anything.

I’ve debated just trashing this blog all together, but maybe some day I’ll regain the spark I had when I first started this particular blog. The original ask-arty was really only started because all my friends were doing it.

I’m sorry to anyone that isn’t in the group I refer to as my friends (you’re all my friends though.)  that is actually interested in this blog. 

Sorry about the delay, but I needed to change the blog a bit. I felt like that my ponysona, Khloe zony didn't fit me too well even though she's made after me, so I changed her up a bit. I made her into an Alicorn and a Princess, because I feel like it represents me more.

Update From the Mod

Hey guys, I'm so sorry that I've taken forever to get this new update out. 

I started it back in September, and I wanted to finish it before October, if that gives you any idea of how late it is, lol.

I ran into some problems with my tablet pen breaking back then, so I got set back around a month, and the rest has been unfortunately lack of motivation to keep the blog running. It just doesn't seem like too many people besides close friends are interested. BUT.

I will at least finish this update and the one I started before with Apache in it. Then I should go back to being inactive answering questions for a while. My inbox is also glitched, so I hadn't seen some questions until recently sadly.

I'm working on the final two panels for it then I should upload it. Not giving any time frame because it always fails lol. I know I've taken 5 months to work on it, but it's still only in my typically sketchy style and probably underwhelming.

For those who care, no, I haven't forgotten this blog. I've just been distracted from it.

Thank you all for sticking around and being patient. As far as I can tell no one's unfollowed me since the last gap.

Unfortunately, we won't be having an open rp about it, but I've decided to draw a picture for it and release it that day. If you send me a reference of your character between now and November 20th, you can be in the picture(s). If you can, please send a reference of the attire they will be in. (Tuxes, Dresses, ect.) If none are available I will draw them one(Which will look generic sadly), I just want to be as accurate as I can be with your character. I'm not sure which direction I will be going with the image(s) yet, but I will let you know when I decide. I might be drawing one large picture with everyone in it, or it might be several pictures with guests interacting with each other. Preferably, I would like it if you would send the references of your character to musical-medic, my mod blog. On here or sending a note on my deviant art is okay as well.  References need to be easy to read/see or/and very descriptive if you don't have any picture for one.  Also I might not be able to fit everyone in if I get a lot of requests, so please be understanding if you didn't get into the image.

Unfortunately AGAIN, the image will only be a sketch. Some examples are here, here, and here. But, even though it won't be my best work like I wanted it to be, I want to do something for you guys as well as Ari. I've been wanting to do a 25 watcher special for a while now but haven't had an idea on what to do. 

I will be queueing this post to reblog 2-3 times a day until the 20th. Sorry in advance for spamming you.
