“I don’t know. I don’t think that there is an era that I wouldn’t look good in, but I’m really feeling this one. I think the ladies would have been all about Tripp Shephard,” he said with a smug smile. “And you don’t look bad either.” He turned to Gemma, his date for the evening. “I’m kidding. You look beautiful. Quite the dame.”
Gemma rolled her eyes as he spoke, not disagreeing with him. “You realize you would have been at war, so I’m not sure how many ladies would have been around,” she teased, deep down not willing to admit that in that moment she was pretty about Tripp Shephard. “Gee... thanks,” she glared, nudging him playfully. “We’re quite the pair aren’t we?”
