As Chrissy explained her power, he felt a cool chill travel down his back. She had to be lying. She had to be. People couldn't actually manipulate stuff, right? That was just a thing in comics and sci-fy movie, right? Caleb was a man of science, he couldn't give into the idea of anything so crazy so easily... but really, was he any better? He, the self-proclaimed "man of science", had seen ghosts ever since he was little. Who was he to say that she was the crazy one? Chrissy had given him proof, which was far more than Caleb could ever give about his 'ability'. "No shit," he whispered, staring at her with an engrossed gaze. He suddenly realized he hadn't really done much but stare, and think, and listen, as she entrusted him with such personal information. He swallowed, and as she awkwardly mentioned people taking a step back, he took a tentative step forward. "I don't think it's weird. I think that's fucking awesome! Like, some people are good at soccer, some people can do cool shit with water, a talent is a talent. And people shouldn't be judged for being special."
