I AM STRONGER THAN THIS! I say, to m y s e l f as I try not to break a p a r t
There was something deep inside that pierced through her petite frame as he voiced his words. It was like that brief moment in time when Sora was in a deep sleep—when he looked into his own heart. When he looked at her, and when he shed that single tear for her, it was then that she realized she wasn’t as forgotten as she anticipated. It hurt, but it made her happy that, finally, someone remembered her.
Perhaps it was the same for Riku; maybe his heart remembered her.
”My name is… Xion.”
Xion
Her name rang clearly through his mind. He knew that name... And then it clicked. He had seen her not that long ago. During Sora's sleep... He was silent for a moment, letting the realisation sink in.
❝You live within Sora's heart... You were there, asking me...❞
But then another thought came up. Even then he knew that he had met her before meeting in that circumstance. She wore did wear an organisation cloak, which that itself confused him, but also gave a hint as to probably where he had seen her.
❝But before... I knew you before. From the Organisation.❞
{♔} ❝—No, darlin’. I’m jus’ someone who’s in big business. Who wouldn’ be intimidated by a woman with power, ‘nyways? Men are always afraid that we’d dominate over ‘em, so they try to hide their fear.❞
❝Huh... Well then. Of course, most other men anyway. Not really much into business so I couldn't care less about who you were and such. You're like any other person to me. You got a name?❞
"Whoops, sorry. didn’t mean to shoot that water at you. I was just practicing a bit, didn’t expect someone to just show up like that."
This guy looked familiar. Riku ran a hand through his hair, trying to see if he could get some of the water out, pondering where he'd see this guy. ❝Um... Okay. I guess that's fine... But um,❞ He bit his lip and then crossed his arms, his eyebrow quirking up a bit. ❝So who are you anyway? You can control water after all so...❞

❝__Hey! Watch where you put that thing! You're getting me all wet!❞
❝ oh yeah! heh, you gotta meet that guy!
he’s a really protective dork, that is always putting me and kairi in the first place. nice dude, although some people are too scared to talk with him. ❞
[ a soft laugh escaped from his rosy lips while an expression of joy took place on his features. hey, it’s been a while since both of them could relax and tease each other, right? so all he could do was enjoy that free time. also, it was pretty much obvious that the brunet was only teasing with riku. and hey, for that description, anyone could easily say who was his best friend. ]
[ He really was a dork. The silver haired teen couldn't help but smile in return. He missed how things were between them. These little things... Yeah. Now that he definitely did miss. For a long time. If only things had been different... Well there was no point in blaming himself anymore. It was long done, far away into the past. Besides, Sora seemed to forgive him about that. But of course now with him as a Keyblade Master... He didn't know how things stood between them both. Hopefully nothing had actually changed. ]
❝Yeah that guy. Strong, handsome, and always getting a certain brunette out of trouble, but hey, what else can you do?
Best friends do that for each other, right?❞
Well two can play at that game. Man did he miss this.
He was certain he never met this girl in his life. She looked an awful lot like… No. It wasn’t her. Obviously it wasn’t. But something was vaguely familiar about this girl that sat right before him. Riku sat down next to her, taking a moment to settle down and gather his thoughts up before speaking to her.
❝I bet… Except I don’t know who you are. But… I know you, don’t I?❞
She should have seen this coming; of course no one would remember her. Prior to this day, she was never supposed to exist. Her face was just reflection of memories that weren’t even hers to begin with. Remembering all the struggles she went through to discover who she really was should have at least left a frown on her visage.
Instead, she just smiled.
She had already accepted the fate that she chose, and thus embraced her consequences.
”No—I mean… it’s okay. I think I might’ve just confused you with someone else, that’s all. Sorry…”
Something about what she said, the way she looked, didn't convince the silver haired teen. He knew her. He just... didn't remember from where. As he was trying to recall where he might have seen her from, everything came to a blank, as if she was meant to be erased from his memory. He figured that Namine or Diz (Ansem rather), had something to do with it.
❝You're lying. I know you... I just don't remember you.
Just... tell me who you are. Please.❞
His mind might have not remembered her, but his heart did.
❝__I'm having a hard time imagining why so many are intimidated by a woman like you.
Are you someone's daughter or something?❞
Need to get this blog active, so like for a starter
A figure appeared in the corner of her peripheral vision. Sapphire orbs first turned toward the figure followed by her upper torso. Upon further inspection, the corner of her lips tugged to a smile. For once, she genuinely felt happy to see a familiar face.
”—Long time no see.”
