Y’all

I’m about to flip my SHIT right now.

9 months.

9 months after the purge

Tumblr FINALLY restored my blogs that were killed by them.

At this point, I see no point in going back to my original blog @cutesuki-bakugou, since I already have more of a following on here. But, I won’t be deleting it just because I do have older writings on there and I don’t really want them to poof. I will be making ONE post on there that it is inactive, so please, just IGNORE THAT BLOG unless you want to link / reblog stuff from there, that’s totally cool.

My art blog was restored as well… I have yet to decide if I want to go back to that one since I have more followers there, or just continue with my current one since it’s been so damn long…. I’ll make a decision soon I suppose.

But yeah, cutesuki-bakugou with ONE dash is the OLD blog and is inactive.

All in all, I am… not happy about the way that this was handled by Tumblr. They forced me to start all the way over, after NO information or contacting me with and details for almost A YEAR. Then they just restore my blogs out of the blue? At this point, I think it would have been better for them to have never been restored…. now i have to deal with them.

It’s an odd mix of emotions… If anyone has any advice, I’ll happily take it. I just don’t know what to do about my art blogs…

PER THIS POST ON MY CURRENTLY ACTIVE BLOG, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS BLOG IS INACTIVE AND CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. ALL INQUIRY WILL BE IGNORED, PLEASE DIRECT ANY CONTACT TO MY CURRENTLY ACTIVE BLOGS @cutesuki--bakugou OR @hvalrossart

THANK YOU!!!

The blaring sound of her morning alarm clock woke Koge up abruptly, making her jerk awake out of a calm and restful sleep. With a groan, she stuck her hand out of the warmth of her blanket, snatching onto her phone and pulling the screaming device back underneath. Squinting at the blinding brightness, she swiped her fingers across the screen to turn off the alarm, sighing as she let the phone fall to the pillow beside her head. Morning already… I guess that’s what I get for staying up late. She pulled the blanket off from over her head, looking at the window to her bedroom. It was still barely dusk, the sky mostly dark with only a small hint of orange sunlight in the distance.

Sometimes, Koge really hated her decision to stay dedicated to running every morning. Why hadn’t she picked the afternoon instead? Or right after school, using the track there? She wasn’t sure, but after a few months of running every morning, she had hoped she’d get used to it. Sadly, that didn’t happen quite yet, and she still struggling to pull herself out of bed every morning. The only thing that really helped her to be excited about her morning jogs was her running partner. To her surprise, he had always been more of a morning person, with that ‘early to bed, early to rise’ mentality. He wasn’t ever exactly chipper in the mornings, but he had way more energy than she ever could.

Knowing he would be upset if she were late getting down to the sidewalk, Koge dragged herself out of bed and to her bathroom. At first, she could only stare at her disheveled, exhausted figure in the mirror, scoffing softly. “Yeah, Koge, you look like you slept like shit.” She snatched her brush off her bathroom counter and began to brush through her white hair, ignoring the uncomfortable tugs of tangles. In a tired daze of yawning and rubbing her face, she eventually finished getting ready, hair up in a high ponytail and headband holding back her bangs. She had also dressed in basic work out clothing which consisted of a blue sports bra that covered down to her belly button, a pair of black leggings, a thin jacket and white tennis shoes.

Twisting her torso a bit to stretch, she looked herself over in the mirror, a bit surprised at how her body had changed after one year of high school. It was obvious why, her constant hero training at UA being ridiculously intense, on top of training with her close combat mentor outside of school. She was quite proud of herself, and she couldn’t help but wonder if a certain boy had taken notice. Shaking those thoughts from her head, she snatched her phone off her bed and headed down the stairs of her home, calling out to her father in the kitchen that she was going out for a run. He only responded with his typical comment to ‘be safe’ before Koge was outside, the door shutting quietly behind her.

Slipping her phone into one of the pockets in her leggings, she took in a deep breath of the cool morning air, hinting that spring was quickly approaching. She loved this weather, where it wasn’t too hot or too cold during her jog and she could be comfortable. Letting yet another loud, heavy yawn pass her lips, she left the doorstep of her home and headed out onto the sidewalk, glancing down the road to where her jogging partner was usually waiting for her. As expected, he was already there, stretching his legs. That flutter of adoration swarmed through her stomach as she watched him for a moment, feeling a bit of heat rush to her cheeks. Damn him, he’s too cute for his own good.

Getting control of herself, she jogged down towards him, gaining the attention of his crimson glare as she approached. “Katsuki! Good morning, sunshine.” Bakugou scoffed, standing up straight from his stretching. “Shut up, Utsuro. You’re late.” Koge gave a small roll of her eyes, coming to a stop beside him. “By two minutes.”

“Have you stretched?”

Koge was about to respond that she had, when it dawned on her that she, in fact, had not. “Ah… no.” Bakugou glowered down at her, crossing his arms over his chest. “Then you’re ten minutes late. Stretch!” Koge shook her head, waving her hand in the air dismissively. “No, no, I don’t need to stretch, it’s fine! Let’s just run!” Shaking his head, Bakugou pointed down to the cold concrete beneath their feet.  “Damn it, Utsuro, I am not going to carry you home again if you get another muscle spaz just because you didn’t stretch. You’ll be crawling!”

With a grumble, Koge begrudgingly obliged, bending over to touch and hold onto her toes. “Fine, fine! I don’t know what you’re complaining about, you liked carrying me home.” She watched her friend out of the corner of her eye as his ears flushed, instantly turning his back to her as he grew flustered. “No I didn’t! You’re fucking stupid.” Koge couldn’t help but to smile quietly to herself, spacing her legs apart to reach over to one foot. She couldn’t help but to look him over for a moment, feeling that heat return to her cheeks. She hadn’t been the only one who had grown fit over the last year. Bakugou had been working his ass off every day to prepare for the entrance exam into UA, which was coming up for him very soon.

This meant that his life the past year outside of Jr. High School had been nothing but working out, training his quirk, studying, and sleeping. A couple of those things, he was content to have her company, but otherwise he had shut himself off from anything that even remotely distracted him from getting into UA. Koge admired his passion, but she did have to admit that his constant wanting to work out or to have her train with him was a bit tiring, on top of all her other physical activities and school duties. But, she was pretty sure that she had fallen into a crush for her childhood friend, and so she was more than happy to join him with minimal complaints.

At the moment, she couldn’t help but find him exceptionally attractive, in his black tank and workout sweats that showed off his physique and assets. Thinking of that made her giggle softly, gaining his attention as he glared at her over his shoulder. “What are you giggling about, idiot?” Koge shook her head, standing up straight from squatting down. “I was just thinking about how grown up you look, all… muscular.” She punched his arm playfully, which he immediately pushed away. “Fuck off! ‘Grown up’, who do you think you are, Utsuro? You’re only a year older than me!” Koge smiled, walking around to stand in front of him. “It’s a compliment, Katsuki! Come on, I thought you would be flattered.”

“I’m not fucking flattered by anything you say. It’s all bullshit.” Bakugou pulled out his phone, starting up his app that counted his steps, miles and recorded his time for each run. Koge stretched her arms up over her head as she waited for him, letting out a sigh as she let them fall back to her sides. “Not true. I mean every word I say, and you know it. You’re the love of my life, Katsuki- EEK!” Koge squealed as Bakugou began to jog past her, shoving her over roughly in the process. “Fuck off, Utsuro!” Catching her balance before she quite literally ate dirt, she took off after him, though found that he was purposely keeping distance between them.

Bakugou had a reason for that. Her teasing him like that frustrated him, and he couldn’t stand the thought of her seeing him grow flustered or blush. There was already enough struggle within him to ignore her stupid smile and how damn attractive she looked in those pants. He hated it. All his work, all his focus towards his goals were constantly derailed by his thoughts of her. There had been a time where he tried to distance himself from her, when she first arrived back from being moved away. He didn’t want to be as close as he had been to her growing up, but there was just this… horribly frustrating urge he had to be around her. Even if they weren’t doing anything, just her presence was enough to boost his mood, although he would never admit this to her.

At this point, he had given up trying to avoid Koge. Not only would she not allow it, he honestly just didn’t want a day to go by where he didn’t see her for at least a moment. She was witty, bold  and could stand up against him no matter what shit he threw at her. It didn’t help that her passion to reach her goals and how far she would go to achieve them were nearly as attractive to him as her looks. Yes, she could be stupid and annoying as anyone else could, but there was this ridiculous bond between them that made him be able to tolerate it and even often find it humorous. Even with what she had just said to him, it was something both infuriating and funny to him, a stupid inside joke that she had going at least since they were eight. ‘You’re the love of my life, Katsuki’ was something that she frequently said to him, and she always said she had a good reason.

“The more you repeat something, the more you think about it and want it, it has to come true right? So, no matter what you think Katsuki, it’s going to happen. You just wait and see!”

Bakugou scoffed to himself quietly as he continued to jog, refusing to look behind him to see if she was still following. Though, he did feel a bit shitty about it, as running in the mornings had been his idea in the first place, and she always agreed no matter how she felt. So, as he rounded a corner, he came to a stop, deciding that scaring or tripping her would be good punishment. After waiting for a moment, however, he became confused when she never reached him. Had she gotten upset and went home? Or did he really leave her that far behind? Had she fallen and hurt herself or something similar?

Feeling a mixture of worry and annoyance bubbling within him, Bakugou went back around the corner, looking down the sidewalk. There was no one, not a single soul out in the streets except for him. Taking a few steps forward, he rubbed the back of his neck, knowing that he hadn’t been jogging that fast to lose her. “Utsuro?!” His voice echoed down the empty street, but still nothing. Grumbling to himself, he started to walk, looking around as he did for any sign of her. The worry began to overwhelm the annoyance the longer he walked, about to call out to her again when he noticed something on the ground.

Koge’s phone was sitting on the sidewalk, lonely and foreboding. Frown crossing his lips, he walked closer and picked it up, turning it over in his hands a bit. It wasn’t messed up, but the fact that it was just on the ground truly did freak him out. She never doesn’t have this fucking thing. It’s weird that it’s just-

A movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention and snapped his head to the side, looking down a dark alley that was barely illuminated by the rising sun. The rush of rage that flushed through him at the scene he had come upon was enough to make him lose control of his quirk, an eruption exploding from his palm that held her phone. Instantly, he caught the attention of Koge and the man who was holding her captive, one hand covering her mouth while the other held a knife to her throat. Dropping the phone, Bakugou turned completely towards the alley, fighting between wanting to rush in and stay calm. The main reason why he had yet to jump in was because of Koge’s body language.

Although she was pinned up against the stone wall of a building, she had no injuries and her breathing was calm, arms resting casually at her sides. There was not a single hint of fear in her typically void expression and only her hair had been disheveled in whatever struggle had occurred. Seeing how calm she was, Bakugou calmed himself, placing his hands into his sweatpants pockets. “What’s this, Utsuro? You got a boyfriend you never told me about?”

The man holding her smirked, snickering in a sickening sound that clearly gave away his intentions. “Oh yeah, little boy, I’m her boyfriend. How about you run along, now, and give us a little privacy before she’s gagging on her own blood instead of something a little more pleasant.” Bakugou scoffed, not moving from his spot, blocking the only exit of the alley. “Aren’t you going to ask her permission first? I think women like to be treated gently, though Utsuro is a bit of a freak, I wouldn’t put it past her to be into this.” He kept his glare locked with Koge as she narrowed her eyes at him, her middle finger silently and stealthily flipping him off.

Bakugou couldn’t help a small smirk from crossing his lips. With that, he knew that he didn’t have to worry and that she already had control of the situation. The man holding Koge turned his attention back to her, his smirk only growing as he removed his hand from her mouth, though the knife stayed in place. “Is that right, little lady? You like it a bit rough?” Bakugou watched as Koge braced her feet against the ground slowly to support her better, leaning her head back a bit. The smile on her lips was quite devious, though Bakugou could tell it was directed towards him, as her eyes didn’t leave him until the last second. “Oh yes, I like to be pushed around a little. Like this-”

With a swiftness that was even faster than Bakugou could blink, Koge brought her arm up to smash the heel of her hand into her captors nose. He let out a yell and stumbled backwards, sending his knife flying as he gripped onto his face. In the next moment, her foot met his temple and he slammed into some nearby metal trash cans, making a horrible racket as he fell limp to the ground. With a disgusted scoff, Koge wiped her face with her sleeve, stepping over the unconscious man's legs towards Bakugou. “Disgusting! He smelt so bad!”

Bakugou didn't remove his hands from his pockets, smirking down at her. “Are you sure that's not you?” Koge smacked him on the arm, glaring up at him with a bit of a pout. “Why didn't you come to my rescue? What if he would have sliced me up?”

“Because you can defend yourself. You're not weak, Utsuro. You had control of that situation before I even showed up.”

Koge felt her face flush at his praise, pushing past him to try and hide it from him. “You still should of helped me! Some best friend you are. Move, I need to call the cops!” As she bent down to get her phone, she gasped loudly at the damage, picking up the cracked and smoldering plastic into her hands. “K-katsuki! You blew up my phone!”

“Don't whine, Utsuro! I'll get you another!”

“Wait! You blew it up because you worried about me! Aw, Katsuki! Come here, let me hug you!”

“No, fuck off! Don't touch me!”

Apple Cider Rum

For Day #8 of the @bnhalloween-challenge

Challenge | Day 8 - Apple Cider & Cuddles + “Pfft, I’m not scared.”

Category | One-Shot

Pairing: Bakugou x Koge (OC) Koge’s Tag

Rating: Teen (Cursing and alcohol)

Word Count: 2,251

Koge gave a small sigh as she looked out of the glass door to the balcony of her apartment, gazing upon the rain as it drowned the city. The sheets of drops were being whipped this way and that by the incredible strength of the wind, which even rattled the glass doors that were her only protection. Out on the balcony, the pumpkins her and her lover had been working on carving were drowning, one of them completely filled up with water, even as it dribbled out of the eyes and mouth that had already been carved.

What a bummer… She thought to herself, closing the curtain just as a bright flash of lightning illuminated the darkness, followed by a rumbling of thunder. The weather channel did warn us not to get our hopes up for a dry Halloween. There’s no way to travel in this mess. Koge moved away from the doors, reaching her arms up over her head as she gave a groan, stretching her sore muscles from a hard workout the day before. “Katsuki, did you find all the candles?”

“Eh? What?” Her lovers annoyed voice called back to her from the bedroom, followed by the sounds of shuffling. Rubbing her left eye as it ached a bit with exhaustion, Koge headed into the bedroom, noticing Bakugou just as he exited the closet with a couple of candles tucked under his arm. He glanced over at her as he shut the door, placing the newly found candles down onto the bed with the rest of the collection. “What did you ask me?” Koge made her way over to stand beside him, running one of her hands down his back gently. “I had asked if you found the candles.”

Bakugou gave a small scoff, checking the drawers of the bedside table to see if there were any more hidden inside. “You know, I usually hate your candle obsession, much like your lotion one, but I guess they do come in handy sometimes.” With a small roll of her eyes, Koge picked up as many candles as she could carry, heading back into the living room. “Whatever, you like my candles. You’ve even light some yourself when I’m not here!” She began to placed them around the apartment, five in the living room and three in the kitchen.

The news had warned of possible power outages with such a serious storm, and so Bakugou had set out to find at least some candles to light around the apartment, should that happen. As Koge placed them, she smiled, reading the scents. “Did you really pick all matching scents? These are all Fall themed.” Bakugou came into the living room, mildly annoyed scowl on his face as he judged the placement of the candles. “Uh, yes? If we have to light them, I don’t want there to be mixed shit smell of ‘Summer Rain’ and ‘Cookie Dough’.” Koge couldn’t help but to giggle, placing the last candle on the small table beside the couch.

“I know Katsuki, you hate candles. They aren’t all that bad, though.” She walked back up to him, noticing that his frustrated scowl hadn’t let up. “Hey, are you alright?” Placing a hand on his cheek, she stroked his skin gently, prompting him to sigh and reach up to ruffle his own hair in agitation. “I’m just pissed off. We did all this planning and preparation for that damn party tonight, just for bullshit rain to ruin it. We did a lot of baking and cooking, and even made that fancy apple cider shit.”

Koge gave a small nod, letting her hands rest on his chest. “I’m pretty bummed about it, too. Not because all our prep was for nothing, but because I really wanted to go. We had our outfits ready and everything.” She let her arms latch around his torso, resting her head onto his chest. A smile crossed her lips as he returned the favor, his arms resting around her tightly. “It’s okay, though, Katsuki. We could always just have our own party.”

Bakugou hummed quietly in thought, though Koge only heard it as a low rumble in his chest. “How? By eating everything?” Koge nodded, looking up at him as a sly smile crossed her face. “Yes. We can make ourselves sick on the sweets we made, and as for the apple cider-” She pulled herself from him, making her way into the kitchen. Opening up one of the cabinets, she displayed to him her prize as she removed it from the shelf. “We have rum! It will be delicious in it!”

Taking the bottle from her, Bakugou looked it over as he thought. “So you want to get wasted and stuff ourselves with sweets? Do you know how sick we’ll be in the morning?” Koge nodded, walking over towards the refrigerator to pull out the apple cider they had already made. “Yep! But it’s fine, we’re both off tomorrow, and we expected to get drunk at the party anyways. This way we’re home and we’re safe and we can do whatever!” She pulled out the container that held the cider, glancing up at the lights as they flickered with a sudden roll of thunder.

“Well Utsuro, you had better get that shit warm, or we’ll be drinking just straight rum.”

“On it!”

“No, no, no, Katsuki, that is not-” Koge stopped in the middle of her sentence to stifle a laugh, waving her cookie at him in defiance. “-That is not what happened! You- you literally slapped me in the face when you were eleven, and I was twelve. You did!” Bakugou shook his head, taking a swig from his apple cider and rum drink before he responded. “No, I didn’t fucking slap you, I just put my hand on your face and pushed you over. That’s not the same.” Koge groaned, leaning back against the couch. “I think you just forgot which time I’m talking about. You have to remember.”

Bakugou shook his head, glaring at her from across the coffee table. “You’re making things up! I only pushed your face away, I didn’t slap you! I mean, fucking yes I remember, you kissed me on the cheek and I flipped out, but I didn’t slap you.” Koge finished off her cookie, taking a large swig of her own drink before she responded. “You did. You’re just trying to soften it up so it doesn’t sound so mean.”

The two had taken advantage of the lonely night, sitting on the floor of the living room around the coffee table, drinks and food scattered about. By now, both of them were pretty well buzzed, enjoying the alcohol and hot apple cider mixture. It was a bit odd, Koge had to admit, to drink such a thing during an occasion such as this. But that didn’t truly matter, they were enjoying themselves chattering about whatever topic happened to come up. The storm outside was still raging, the occasional lightning flooding the apartment with more light. So far, the electricity had yet to go out, so they were still warm and comfortable.

“Why the fuck would I try to soften it up? If I slapped you, I would admit it, but I didn’t!” Bakugou tossed a fake plastic spider at her, one that came out of their fancy cupcakes. Koge giggled as it smacked her on the cheek, bringing her hand up to wipe the icing it left on her skin. “Okay, okay, fine! I do remember for sure how cute you were! You were so embarrassed. Come here, come here and sit next to me.” She patted the floor beside her, watching him as he scooted his way around the coffee table to be beside her, holding a cupcake in his mouth.

“Here, let’s reenact it, okay?” Koge turned to face him a bit, bouncing in her spot as she waited for him to finish chewing his cupcake, setting the rest back down on the table. “Tch, maybe it will jog your shitty memory, Ustuso.” He wiped his mouth clean with his thumb, narrowing his eyes down at her. “Well, hurry up!”

Koge smiled, moving to sit on her knees. “This is what I remember doing.” She used one hand to grip his opposite cheek, pulling his face into hers as she placed a rough, playful kiss on his cheek. Bakugou brought his hand up and put it over her face, pushing her back away from him. “Yeah, and then I pushed you away! I didn’t slap you, oh shit-!” Both of them busted out laughing as Koge lost her balance from his push, falling backwards onto the floor with a squeal. Her mind and body dizzy from the alcohol, she could only lay there and giggle, letting her legs lay out across his lap.

“Holy shit, I think you’re drunk, Utsuro.” Bakugou let his hands rest on her legs, the heat of his palms against the chill of the room making Koge shiver. “Mmm, maybe only a little bit. But so are you, your cheeks are pink.” He only grunted in response as he went back to eating his cupcake, giving her thigh a squeeze. Pout crossing her lips at being ignored, she sat up, straddling his lap while facing him. “Don’t ignore me for a cupcake. Gimme a bite.” Bakugou narrowed his eyes at her, holding what was left of his treat away from her to protect it. “No, fuck off, this is my cupcake, get your own! There are like six behind you on the table!”

Koge kept her pout as she let her arms rest around his neck. “Are you saying you love that cupcake more than me?” Bakugou snickered, smirk stretching across his lips as he popped the last of the cupcake into his mouth. “Yes. Sometimes I prefer a little sweet over salty, you know?” Koge gasped at the betrayal, bringing her hands up to cup his cheeks. “How dare you-”

Before she could finish, a loud crash of thunder shook the building, lightning flashing through the room along with the pop and whirring of the electricity going out. Having been completely caught off guard, Koge had snatched onto Bakugou tightly, hiding her face in his chest. He had put his arms back around her out of reflex, but now that the room settled back into a suffocating silence, he couldn’t help but to chuckle.

“Utsuro, are you scared?” He rubbed her back gently before holding onto her, standing and placing her down on the couch. Koge huffed as she reluctantly released him, trying to see him in the pitch black. “Pfft, I’m not scared! That just surprised me is all.” Bakugou stroked her hair gently before he left her, cursing as he slammed his shin into the table before he got around it. “What did we do with the damn lighter?!” Koge stood, patting the pockets of her shorts. “I don’t have it.”

“Oh, I do.” Bakugou said with a dull voice as he pulled the lighter from his pocket, making Koge giggle. “Premature anger.” As the first three candles were lit, Koge found the second lighter sitting on the table, helping him in lighting up the few in the kitchen as he went to the bedroom and restroom. They both soon returned to the living room, where Koge pulled back the curtain to the glass doors, giving a small gasp as she looked down at the city. “Holy crap, it’s completely black!” Bakugou stood behind her, his hands resting on her shoulders as he leaned his chin on the top of her head. “Damn.”

Koge leaned back against him, reaching up to hold onto his arms as he let them rest around her shoulders. “That’s really creepy. I wonder how long it will be out for.” She felt heat rush to her cheeks as he leaned down, kissing her cheek a few times before he let his head rest against hers. “Who cares…” Smiling, Koge stroked his hair gently, loving how much of a cuddle bug he became when he drank. It was much like when he was exhausted, where he just wanted to snatch onto her and fall asleep.

Before he could fall asleep standing up, Koge gently urged him back towards the couch. “Come on. Let’s lay down for a little bit.” Bakugou yawned loudly as he followed her, rubbing the back of his head. “Yeah, okay. My stomach feels like shit.” He flopped to lay down on the couch, holding his arm open for her to join him. Koge was quick to do so, grabbing the fleece blanket off the back of the couch and putting it over them the best she could in her dizzy state. “Finally, cuddle time.”

Bakugou scoffed, hiding his face into her hair. “You could of had it way sooner, but you wanted to drink.” Koge nuzzled her face into the soft fabric of his shirt, sighing as she grew comfortable. “I wasn’t the only one who wanted to drink, so did you. But, I think we got through all that apple cider and the whole bottle of rum. That’s an achievement.”

“I enjoy this more than some stupid fucking party with a lot of people, anyway…”

“Me too, Katsuki. The joys of being introverts.”

“Huh?”

“You’re never truly upset if you have to stay inside or plans get cancelled. As long as I have you and cuddles, I’d be happy never going outside again.”

“K-Katsuki, I need your help, please open the door!”

Bakugou could barely hear the cry of his lover over the volume of his video game, his focus only pulled from it when he could hear a banging on their apartment front door. Followed by vicious, rapid ringing of the doorbell, he sighed and stood, gripping his headphones as he talked into the attached mic. “Koge’s back from shopping, I have to go for a bit. I’ll be back--”

“What?!” Kaminari whined, obviously upset by the sudden parting.

“Aw nice, tell her I said what’s up!” Kirishima, laid back as always, wasn’t one to whine about things like this.

“Come on, man, we’re literally in the middle of a match!” Sero was just as disappointed, though Bakugou was having none of it.

“Shut the fuck up! I’ll be back.” With the whining sighs still coming from the speakers, he removed his headphones, being sure to mute his end first before tossing them on the couch with the game controller.

“Katsuki!!” His lover yelled to him, now, and he quickly jogged over to their front door, unbolting the locks and throwing it open a bit roughly in his agitation. “Utsuro, why the fuck can’t you just unlock the door-”

“Here!”

Before he could finish, two extremely large pumpkins were thrown into his arms, growling in anger as he had to fumble with them so they wouldn’t take a tumble to the ground. “What the fuck!? Pumpkins?!” His glare moved to his darling girlfriend, who was flustered and sweating, glaring right back up at him with her white hair plastered to her fair skin. “I’ve been trying to get you to come to the door for like ten minutes! Geez.” She adjusted one of the many bags on her arms, nodding for him to take a step back so she could come inside, which he promptly obeyed. “Well fuck, I couldn’t hear you. Why didn’t you just put the pumpkins down and open the damn door.” Once she was out of the way, he used his elbow to shut the door behind her, following her small fuming form into the kitchen.

“You know how heavy those are for me, Katsuki? On top of all these other groceries? It took forever to get everything balanced. I am not taking two trips up and down to the thirty-second floor, and there weren’t any carts in the lobby to use.” Huffing, she put the grocery bags up onto the kitchen island countertop, pulling her aching arms out of the handles. Bakugou placed the pumpkins down as well, admittedly feeling kind of shitty for not knowing she needed help. “You could have texted me, I would have come down.” Koge sighed, wiggling her arms a bit once they were free.

“I did, love. Twice.” Koge looked up at him, watching his brow furrow deeper and confusion peek through his scowl as he snatched his phone out of his pocket. “Fuck, I turned it on silent. I had forgotten.” With a small shake of her head, Koge walked around the island to stand beside him, hands on her hips. “See? So you can’t pout to me about interrupting your game or being upset.” Bakugou narrowed his crimson eyes at her as he shoved his phone back into his pocket. “I wasn’t even upset about that!”

Koge reached up, sinking her finger into his cheek. “Uh huh, sure. But that’s alright, I told you it was okay to stay and play games. It could have been worse. I could have fallen and busted my ass or dropped something. But I’m tough, you know.” She pulled her hand away, holding her arm up in a way to flex. “Super strong.”

Bakugou scoffed, snatching her by the arm to yank her towards him before latching his arms around her. “Shut up, Utsuro. Now you’re just trying to show off and tease me for dropping the eggs last time.” Smiling, Koge let her arms rest around his neck as she pushed herself up onto her tiptoes to nuzzle her nose against his. “Is it working? Are you impressed?” Bakugou gave her a rough kiss before scooping her up, placing her down onto the island counter. Standing between her legs, he kept his arms around her waist, nuzzling his face into her neck and shoulder. “No. You fucking wimp.”

Koge giggled, hiding her face into his soft messy hair. “Don’t be jealous.”

“Tch, that’s funny.” Bakugou’s gaze landed on the giant pumpkins, grumbling as he glared at them. “I thought you were just getting some shit for the party, why did you get pumpkins? Planning on cooking something with them?” Koge hummed softly in thought, making soft circles along his back with her nails. “I mean, maybe I could use some stuff to make something, like roasting the seeds. But no, I bought those for us.” Bakugou stood up straight, glowering down at her in annoyance. “For us? To do what?”

“Carve them! And then tonight when everyone comes to the Halloween party, they’ll judge who’s is the best. Winner gets, uh… whatever they want?” She reached over and smacked one of the pumpkins with a loud thunk, smiling up at her obviously annoyed lover. “What do you think?” Bakugou moved his hands to her sides, smirking and squeezing her ribs to make her yelp and wiggle to escape being tickled. “I think you’re going to fucking lose! The bigger one is mine!” Koge, trapped by his body in front of her with no way to escape his grip, latched her arms around his neck and legs around his waist as she pushed herself off the counter, forcing him to hold her. “Fine, just don’t tickle me!”

Stepping back from the counter, Bakugou peeled her from him and placed her back on her feet. “You don’t remember that I was good at this as a kid?” Koge huffed as she went to a bag, digging through it to find a pumpkin carving kit that she had bought. “I know, you always made way better ones than me. But you won’t today, because I have a plan.” She tossed him the kit, trusting him to catch it, which he did. “I have a great idea that everyone will love.” Bakugou eyed the kit with a skeptical glare, making his way towards the counter beside the stove. “What is this stupid fucking thing? What happened to just using a knife and a spoon? I’m not using this shit.” From the knife block, he pulled out the largest knife they had before stabbing it into the top of his desired pumpkin with quite a bit of force.

Koge couldn’t help but to snicker, finding humor in his violet action and blank expression. “Murderous.”

Eventually, the two had put away groceries and had set up outside on their balcony to carve. Koge had her legs wrapped around her pumpkin as she worked on cutting an opening, though she was going from the bottom instead of the top, like Bakugou had. He grumbled at her as he finished his circle, pulling the new piece from his pumpkin by the stem. “Why the fuck are you doing going from the bottom?”

The hole Koge was making was quite small, only big enough to get her hand and a scooping spoon into. “I told you, I have a plan and you’re gonna be so jealous!” Bakugou began to scoop out the pumpkin guts with a serrated edge spoon that came with the carving kit, plopping the goopy substance into a plastic bowl. “Well, tell it to me.”

Koge shook her head, intensely focused on making her entrance to her pumpkin perfect. “No. You don’t get to know. You’re the one that made this into a big competition, so I can’t tell you my idea.” Bakugou glared at her out of the corner of his eye, hating that she could be so stubborn sometimes. “Hmph…. Whatever. You’re still going to lose.” Koge popped the piece she had carved out, placing it beside her so she wouldn’t lose it. She reached for her spoon, only to find that Bakugou had taken it, using the one from the kit instead of the regular spoon he had brought out.

Pouting, Koge narrowed her eyes at him, picking up the normal spoon. “You took my special spoon.” Bakugou smirked, still scooping out the insides of his pumpkin. “Damn right, and it works awesome. Better than a regular shitty spoon.”

“But you’re the one that was dissing the kit! That’s my spoon, Katsuki.”

“You don’t deserve it, Utsuro-”

Before he could finish, a glob of nasty, sticky pumpkin goop hit him square in the cheek, silencing him as it sploshed from his shoulder down to the floor. Her cheeks flushed red in her frustration, Koge continued to dig through her pumpkin with her hand, ignoring the dark glare and anger she could feel radiating from her lover. “You’re such a jerk-EEK!” She squealed as Bakugou’s entire bowl full of pumpkin guts was dumped onto the top of her head, frozen in fear as he roughly rubbed the gooey substance into her hair. “Katsuki, what are you doing?! I didn’t throw this much at you!” She removed her hand from her pumpkin, pushing it aside as she tackled him to the ground.

“Hey, you salty bitch, don’t put that in my hair, it’ll never come out!!”

“You put it in mine! Here, have some down your pants instead!”

“FUCK IT’S NASTY, QUIT YOUR SHIT! GET YOUR HAND OUT OF MY PANTS!”

“What, you don’t like having pumpkin dick? Too bad!”

“SHUT UP!”
