[Begins to be aware as an unknown tall lanky figure sits next to me, bites the corner of my lip; thinking to myself, wondering who’s sitting next to me. Doesn’t take my eyes off of the doctor, but as soon as she stops talking, I quickly slide my phone back into my clutch before instantly clapping my hands. Furrows my eyes when the unknown person beside me whispers softly into my ear, quickly realizing it’s just you when I allow my eye sight to fall onto you; smiles slightly, tucking a few strands of hair behind my ear as I begin to speak but a bit loud so you can hear me over the music] Hey, Cai. Are you enjoying the night? I know I am. [Glances over my shoulder, noticing people are already up and dancing. Tilts my head to the side, grazing my bottom lip with the tip of my tongue then bringing my attention back to you as I lean forward as if I’m getting ready to stand up] You know, you can finally teach me how to dance. I mean right now is a perfect opportunity.
[leans back in my seat after speaking into your ear and I run my tongue between my lips, scanning the room to see everyone getting up from their seats to dance then I look back at you; nods my head some before I speak once again, loud enough for you to hear me.] Yeah, great time. I guess? [shrugs my shoulders a bit, looking at you while you watch everyone dance for a minute then you look back at me, smiling a bit before you lean forward, looking as you're about to stand up and I raise my eyebrow. I listen closely to what you have to say then I nod my head before I slowly rise up from my seat and I dust my hands against my pants; steps off to the side and I push my chair in before I hold my hand out for yours. Helping you up out of your seat, I lead you over to the dance floor, making a face at the music that's playing then I sigh to myself before I decide to let you step in front of me. I place my hand on your hip and I pull you towards me, letting you place your arms around my shoulders and I fill in the space between us before I start to sway from side to side.] When we were talking about teaching you how to dance. I definitely wasn't talking about dancing to this bullshit. [looks down at you for a moment before I lean forward and rests my face against the side of yours, continuing my slow music to the beat of the music.]

[Flips my hair over my shoulders, as I finally arrive to the gala but fashionably late. As soon as I walk into the area where everyone’s sitting at tables, looks around trying to find familiar faces. But seems to be having trouble because I can’t find anyone. Saunters over to a table, pulling out a chair for myself as I sit down by myself; pulls out my phone from my clutch, scanning through my notifications not even noticing that a waiter has placed a drink right infront me. My head quickly lifts up as soon as the scientist begins to say her speech, respectively paying attention to her]
[taps my fingers against the table as I listen to her speak, making a face to myself then I shake my head. I roll my eyes to myself then I turn my head towards the door, looking away for a few seconds then I realize that I see someone that I know. Furrowing my eyebrows, I turn my head back to the door and I see you walk inside while pulling down your dress. My eyes slowly starts to scan your body, taking in each curve that you have and I swift run my tongue across my bottom lip before I push myself back into my seat; following you with my eyes as you walk over to your table and sit down. For a moment I try to decide if I should get up and walk over to your table or not, finally coming to the conclusion that I should and I place my hands on the table, standing up slowly and I fix my suit a bit before I make my way over to your table, sliding into a seat that's next to you and I look at the scientist for awhile as she speaks before I look over at you as the music starts to play, giving you a warm smile and I lean over; speaking in your ear for you to hear me.] Hey, babygirl.
[walks into the Gala in my suit, looking around some then I slide my hand into my pocket as I walk further inside, making my way over to one of the tables and I use my free hand to pull back the seat and I sit down in it. I slide my hand out of my pocket and I pull the chair up, my eyes continue to wander around the building and I sit up straight, listening to the Scientest say her speech.]
