When I tell one of my LEOs they have to do something they don’t want to do I can proceed with the case.

The bar exam, a summary
the burnout of 3L is so damn real, I'm not sure how people who are still in the hiring process are functioning
As someone who landed their job literally the week before walking the stage in June, a lot of spite and alcohol
As someone who got her job literally 2 weeks before the bar, I can confirm spite and alcohol got me through 3L.

When a defendant starts asking to get out after arraignments but he’s presumptively no bail.
When all the physical evidence for a case is destroyed through dumbassery.
When defense counsel asks, “You’re not really going to go to trial on this, are you?”
Arguing with defense counsel when there’s case law on point in my favor.
I'm back, y'all!
So, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. That’s primarily because I was focusing on bar prep. About 2 weeks before the bar I got a job offer, so I had to pack for a cross-country move while doing my last-minute cramming. The city where I got a job is absurdly rural and I could only afford 25gigs of internet per month. Tumblr, in case you haven’t noticed, can be a data sink. I got a new job in a larger city and now have decent internet, so I’m coming off hiatus.
What place is that rural?
Sorry; it was only letting me reply from my personal blog. I was in a small town in Western Alaska. There are a lot (relatively, anyway) of Alaskan towns and villages that have really expensive, really crappy internet. I’m assuming it comes from not being on the road system.
