Saw this tag on Twitter and kinda thought it would be fun to bring to tumblr. I know we all have some good stories of the bad days. I wanna hear them.

For me, probably when Ebby had a panic attack in the isle before she was even saddled. She broke a cross tie, backed up into another horse and then we put her in a stall and she ran in circles for ten minutes. I rode all my tests praying that she wouldn’t bolt and buck me off in front of my whole barn.

The same day I got beaten by a kid who had ridden for two summers, by the collective points, we scored the same movement scores. I’d ridden for 11 years at the time, yet got beat by a tween who’d ridden for 2 summers. It was so embarrassing.

Getting dumped by my horse before my test started. But after the bell rang. Instant elimination.

Was riding a bomb.com test in the rain, getting high scores, and then Tesla got water in her ear and wouldn’t stop trying to shake her head (we got 5s after that)

She went lame in the second test

I was doing my freestyle at championships and my pony jumped out of the arena but no one knew what to do so they left my music going and I jumped her back in and finished my freestyle with the music. I got eliminated but the judges had a good laugh and kept scoring me, I would have gotten a 72% if we had stayed in 😂

Gotta be the time I was showjumping and I went over a fence funny, and landed on the back of the saddle, OUCH D: (I'm trans mtf)

Svid seemed to enjoy getting some pets and head rubs today, or at least he didn’t mind!
