this whole album gives it away. the title “paul is live” is just a cheap attempt to satisfy and dismiss the feeble minded sheeple, but the cover itself tells us everything. paul (or faul, as we really should be calling him) has one foot balanced on the threshold of life (the white strip) prepared to take a step into the realm of death, or the underworld (represented by the darker strip). the fact that his DEAD dog martha is leading the way just pushes the envelope. note the two lines of the road that meet at a single point on the horizon…this is an ancient technique in religious art, meant to symbolize GOD and the mystical unknown. then there’s the man’s body posture…his left hand (aka “paul’s” DOMINANT hand.. one of the many tidbits of information they have imparted upon us) is leading his body, but he’s severely leaning, tugged by an invisible force that’s preventing him from taking the final plunge, the final plunge that his entire physical being (again, the dominant hand) is yearning for. this preventative force could be interpreted as his oblivious yet well intended fans, but even more poignantly, may be interpreted as the corporations which have previously and still currently (why do you think old “paul” is still present as an eight figure a-list celebrity? they’re keeping him around for a reason!) employ this fictitious image as a mere marketing tool, the missing piece in their puzzle, an apparatus to sell their spineless, trite creations to the masses and gain their steadfast dedication and alacrity (and russian missile codes.. but we’ll get into that later…) additionally, note the outfit “paul” is wearing…a suit… the patent uniform of a corporate puppet! faul is a mere projection and reflection of the current social consciousness, a holistic portrait of the capitalistic venom flowing through the veins of the corporate entity and our society as a whole. their contrivance, although immaculately assembled, is flimsy and thin-skinned… remember the 2015 collaboration between infamous rapper and cutural icon kanye west, superstar rihanna, and “paul mccartney”? this was simply one incident among a sea of mess-ups. it left tens of thousands of fans and observers scratching their heads and forcibly opened the eyes of scores of onlookers. with more stumbles guaranteed to come, one may only guess how much longer it will be until their apotheosized linchpin is definitively yanked from the wheel of the corporate machine, halting our nation in its tracks and propelling the system to its knees once and for all, freeing us from our co-dependence and thrusting us into an age of freedom and enlightenment.

You’re on holiday with [George] and every morning he’d say, ‘Oh, come and see the trees’. ‘Okay, yeah’. And then the next day, ‘Oh, come and see the trees’. ‘Yeah, okay’. And then, ‘Come and see…’ ‘I’ve seen your bloody trees!’
