Welcome to the tank Giggles Rescue, another big fella, rescued from a pet shop who ‘can’t afford’ spare shells. Think we got this guy just in time. Took him barely 10 seconds to move into a new, and much bigger, shell.

Yay, musical shells! Looks like Paul is getting in on the action now moving out of his recently acquired frog shell and into Oscar's recently vacated Babylonia! That should keep them on their toes boys! ~ Penny

Well Oscar, I think you are officially driving the humans nuts! Well done! ~ Sharna Oscar in today's shell, formerly inhabited by Reggie

Ok busy day, a few things to mention.  The new layout of the tank looks great, most of us are still up enjoying it.  RIP McDuff, a founding member who will be missed.  A new shell for Oscar, smaller but those tritons are heavy so stay tuned.  And whoever left half a leg by the water bowl could you please clean it up.  Thanks and goodnight all. ~ Sharna

In today's news...

Congratulations Rosie on a successful molt! And on another note everybody be careful around the water bowl at the low end, the heat lamp exploded today. Whilst it has been replaced and all visible shards removed I suggest you exercise caution in this area.

Hey Sharna, you are in a shell that is far too small for you. There are bigger tenuispena if you want to stick with them... Why don't we just swap? ~ Oscar

Hey Oscar, a word from the wise- that shell is too big! There are smaller moon snails on the other shelf if they are what you want to stick with but that one is for Ringo, or me. Far too big for you. ~ Sharna

Way to confuse the humans guys! George has changed shells, into the late John's shell. Flop has also changed shells, into George's newly vacated shell! Well done guys! :-p ~ Sharna

Catch-up

Wow it's been hectic here lately, haven't had a chance to blog so I'll give you all the goss in one hit. So to start off we've had a death in the tank, RIP John. Not quite sure what happened but he was found dead next to a shell on the surface. This caused some upheaval for all as he had changed shells so it was a little while before we could be sure just who it was, so everybody was dug up for a head count which is always a good excuse for a tank clean. Totally changed again this time we now have a really deep end for molting and a flat lower ground for playing with a few climbing options but I'm not too sure about this lack of substrate down one end, I get it's for safety (for molters) - and rumor suggests to stop Ringo making so much mess - but we are having some issues particularly with humidity and fresh water access which I hope are addressed soon, the water bowl is a bit high for some of the little guys to get in and out of easily. Also Dlop gave everyone a bit of a scare by molting on the surface, done quickly but didn't want to get back in a shell or eat the exo so that was a stressful say but he's all good now, if a little pale. So that's it, that's what we've been up to. Peace out ~ Sharna
