TGC Staff Party!

We just had a really fun staff party with many members of our hard working team! Some people couldn't make it due to other commitments, but our folks are the real deal and work hard every day to turn your ideas into games!

We're thankful to have such a great group and we love seeing several staff members reaching 5 and 10 year work anniversaries at TGC!

The Game Crafter turns 15 years old in July of this year and we have so much gratitude for our community. The 450,000+ orders you've purchased from us have helped this American manufacturing business grow into what it is today. When you choose to work with us, you directly support over 45+ staff members and their families.

On behalf of our whole team, thank you!

GAMA Designer Day Event

The Game Crafter was a proud sponsor of the Designer Day event at GAMA Expo 2024!

Designer Day took place in Lexington, Kentucky on Sunday, March 3 at GAMA EXPO. It was a full day of professional development, networking sessions, playtesting, and game scouting. The goal was to move designers at all levels forward in their careers and introduce them to several publishers.

The Game Crafter loves to support indie game designers and design events like this. We donated prototyping blanks, board game pieces, and some Fail Faster Playtesting Journals (on behalf of the creator, Jay Cormier).

That Cool Stock Part Challenge

That Cool Stock Part Challenge is our current game design contest for the community and the challenge is to use one or more of TGC’s stock components as the centerpiece and inspiration for a new game. Embed those pieces into the core of your game’s theme, mechanics, and player experience. The stock pieces shouldn’t feel like basic prototype pieces, or be relegated to counters or currency—they should feel like they were made specifically for your game. In other words, the components should make the fun!

The submission period ends May 22, so there's still plenty of time to work on your game(s)!

The contest will be judged by Emily Willix (Owner/Founder @ Small Furry Games) and Parker Simpson (Illustrator/Owner @ Shiny Pigeon Games)
