He’s been taking on a few solo jobs for a change, keeping himself active and trying his best not to mope around the new guild. Eventually, he’ll warm up to those in Fairy Tail, but for now the rain man remains as solitary as ever. It wasn’t a bad thing, at least within the walls of this guild he didn’t have to face and hear the sharp dislike of the weather and the man himself. This would have been his last job for the week, finally bringing himself to stay around for a little while, the water mage took a seat at one of the empty tables glancing down at his arms quietly in thought.

Fingers rattled against the piece of paper in hand. He just sort of stared at it. The characters on it like a hidden message, or some sort of ancient language. All he knew was it was a music score of sorts. He had approached both Gajeel and Mira about it, but neither of them seemed worried about dropping it, which had left one person the last candidate.

Standing quite a distance away, his eyes studied the bold, black text of the music notes, while closing in on the person he thought this had belonged to. Mustering up the courage, the water mage, made his way over to the woman with purple hair. Clearing his throat, his thoughts seemed to be trapped inwardly at first, rendering him speechless. ‘Juvio... thinks that this belongs to...’ before allowing a single word to slip out of his mouth. “You-.”

Blinking from the mistake his eyes drifted away, as he lifted the paper up and held it in her direction. “Juvio thinks.. that you might have dropped this...” of course no eye contact was given and the dude’s heart was pumping heavily within his chest.

A long-stretched sigh left the blonds lips while he faced the surroundings, observing what was going on in here. The games were hard and everyone was at full concentration, yet something felt off, whatever it was, he couldn’t tell. Laxus did not even notice the steps that moved closer and the voice that suddenly echoed through his head— so he had to blink a few times before he turned around, looking at the blue haired man and the plate and back.
Grumbling, he averted his eyes anew, but his voice was calm, much the opporite of his face that showed nearly no eomtion. Sighing again, the blond leaned back and closed his eyes for a second.
“I’ve no problem with the cold, y’know.           But I apprecciate the food. Thanks.”

When the taller and broader male began to turn in his direction, he couldn’t help but feel his own body stiffen from just a little bit of nerves, but he remained where he was for the most part. He wasn’t certain why, but this whole ordeal was feeling a little close to home. The mage of water hated the feeling of being alone, must less being cast aside. Even if that hadn’t truly been the case in this situation,he just wanted to make sure.

image

A nod was given in response to his words as he offered a smile once more. “You’re welcome...” hues of ocean directed towards the surroundings as well, and mainly the sky before taking a step forward. “Juvio... just wants Laxus to know... he’s glad to be on the same team.”

The bluenette felt it the right thing to do when it came to the current situation around them. Spotting most everyone in the room they had been given, there was in fact someone missing. Having already sat down to eat, the rest of those belonging to team B had not been shy when digging into their grub, but the water mage had other thoughts lingering within his mind.

Excusing himself from the group, he gathered a good portion of food onto another plate, and made his way out of the room. Glancing down the hallway in silence, he slowly moved along, before spotting the blonde he had been searching for, standing out on one of the balconies facing the city.

image

“There you are...” escaped a soft tone. Walking through the doorway, lips curving at the corners, just enough to off a faint smile. “Here.” A few more steps brought him towards Laxus, resting the plate in question against the top of a planter. “You should eat it, before it gets cold...”

He looked so.. lonely over there- and the weather was only making the Guild quieter, more dull and lazy. Not that she could blame the rest of her guild mates. The more louder ones were off on jobs, but a cloudy sky always did make others sleepy.
Not her, though- she found it relaxing. A nice time to read or relax. Raining felt.. cleansing to her, but.. looking at the Water Mage across the hall, he didn’t seem to feel the same. Thus, she set her book down (she’d finish it later) and approached him, gently sitting on the sill across from him.
“Hey you- “ She started, smiling softly before tilting her head to look out the window. “looks like a big one is coming in, doesn’t it?”

Fingers tapped against in thighs in thoughts, while eyes focused on the splattered droplets of rain smear down the glass of the window. So this had been it. It always brought worry to his mind that one day this whole ordeal of being free from the thing which plagued him from what seemed like forever would come to an end.

Whenever it rained, it never occurred to him that the weather was doing it because it was apart of nature, he felt it was his fault all over again. Releasing a soft sigh, his solitude was startled by the approach of the script mage. Hues of ocean directed towards her for a split second, and his body growing anxious as if he were about to get up and leave.

Image

Staring a little dumbfounded from the words which escaped her lips. “Oh- yeah... seems that way.” Another heavy breathe was released from his lips, turning both attention and head away from her general direction as he muttered a soft word barely over a whisper.

“Sorry...”

As the sound of heavy drops of rain splashed and drummed against the roof, and windows, he couldn’t help but wonder.

Blue orbs shifted towards the darkening sky; growing a deeper shade each passing moment. His mind was uncontrollably withdrawing to that of the past. it had been raining again.... Was it his doing? Had the mere presence of the water mage somehow back tracked?

Without any observation of whom might be around, arms slipped around his knees, easing his chin upon them, staring up from his position on the floor.

“It’s raining...”

She's pulling his short hair into tiny pig-tails and giggling. "- there's nothing wrong with the rain, you just need to act a little silly in it!"

Sitting rather awestruck by what had been happening, Juvio remained perfectly still, not wanting to interrupt the script mage and her current little task. When her voice broke the silence, hues of ocean lifted to glance over his shoulder and up at the woman. “Being silly in the rain will make it seem less…. rainy?” Great use of words Juvio. He further cursed himself inwardly, as hands formed into fists against the top of his thighs, a heavy breathe releasing from his lips. When it came to  being around the shorter woman, he had found words often escaped him.

image

Head tilted slightly upon feeling a little tug as the short strands of hair, pinched within her hands, thus causing him to squint one eye closed, with a little chuckle of his own escaping. It wasn’t that he agreed, he just found her giggles and laughs quite contagious and the cutest thing to reach his ears in a long time.

It wasn’t certain why by the water mage had come to a complete halt. Upon spotting that of the shadow dragon slayer, he truly couldn’t help but stare Why? That was a good question, even he didn’t know the answer to it. Oceanic hues remained pinned on this one individual as lower lip had fallen victim to very light, yet intense nibbles given his thoughts had began to run away with him.

Image

He felt as if he had known this person some time ago? It was that familiarity of his features perhaps? Something tugged at him to approach, yet the bluenette found the feat of moving his legs impossible, how strange... There had been a sudden burst of mixed emotions which had in turn caught Juvio off guard along with confused him right to the core.

So all he could do was stare; Stare and hope that perhaps he would manage to figure out everything before the title of ‘creeper’ would sneak up on him and the other discovered the intense gaze that had been cast upon him.

‘Where do I know him from...?’ he thought to himself, curving brows inwards, expressing the deeper thoughts bouncing around within his mind, of course to anyone else, the way his features tightened, it could be easily misread as a glare. Not good.

"Ooh- you have really pretty eyes! Like a storm-" She was small- very small, ad her eyes were wide with wonder even was the water from rain made clothes stick to her like a second skin. "- were you out by yourself, too?"

the young male stared at the girl with a blank expression. It had been a first, this entire time when anyone had spoken towards the young boy it was of negative things, such as the rain always accompanying him. Even so, young Juvio managed to crack a faint smile towards her words. “Oh– Yea… I was asked to go find something for my guild.” the boy mused triumpantly, however he didn’t manage to achieve his goal and now he was wandering around in hopes that the thought of him getting lost would be more worrisome than his failure. “How about you? Do you belong to a guild?” He peered up at the rain over head and frowned, wondering just how long it would take the girl to catch on that he was causing it.

Staring at the woman from a far, he found himself unable to take a step forward. Was it guilt? Perhaps so. Even if it wasn’t under his control the reason behind his absence. The rain mage stood where he was, giving a faint nod to the book worm.

“Yes… it’s really Juvio.”

Image

To say she was relieved was an understatement. She’d been worried! That job was not supposed to take so long. Feet no longer cemented to the ground, she dashed over to hug the water mage as tight as she could.

“I was worried something had happened to you,          and no one told me where your job took you so          I couldn’t go check! - what happened to you?!”

Image

Oceanic optics watched the woman as she made her way over to him, and no sooner hugged him. Arms would remain at his side, now snared to him more than anything due to her hug. He slowly slipped his arms free, and wrapped them around the shorter woman, leaning down to press his face against the top of her head.

A faint sniffle was given as he breathed in her scent. How, how he had missed the script mage. His arms tightened around her even more before he spoke out. Keeping his face buried more or less against the top of her hair.

“Juvio would rather not talk about it...” He stated softly, at least not right then and there. He breathed out heavily. “I-I’m sorry Juvio worried you Levy...”

PSA

I have tried, and tried again to get back into the swing of thing when it comes to this fandom. The truth is, I haven’t been into the series past Tartaros. I haven’t read past there. I tried, but I couldn’t get back into it. I still have my favourite muses such as Sting, and Juvia, etc, but it still doesn’t quite par up to my love for One Piece right now.

So with that being said, all of my Fairy Tail Muses will be going on a selective hiatus until further notice. I will reply to certain people, and what I have owed, but new threads and the like shall not be answered. Sorry to be like this, I just can’t… i’m not exactly having fun. The replies used to come to me naturally, but now they aren’t.

If you want to contact me i’ll be over on @eviscxration, @sacredcalamity, @sougre or @calculatedxperfection

It was fun while it lasted.
