Daily tip: if someone can fall asleep knowing you’re crying, knowing you’re hurting or didn’t get home safe, they don’t care about you.

This is really not a good way of thinking. My ass is always depressed/stressed/feeling bad in the middle of the night, and it’s not fair for me to expect other people to lose sleep in a situation where they really can’t even help for real. And vice versa, no matter how worried I am about somebody, there will be times when I’m tired af and have work in the morning, and depriving myself of sleep helps no one.

Someone taking care of their own needs, physical or otherwise, doesn’t mean they don’t care about you.

There’s a Golden Age story where Diana dreams she’s gotten married to Steve and then wakes up and is like “that was SUCH A HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE imagine getting married to a MAN???” and it cracks me up every time. 

I promise I’m a lot nicer than my ‘walking to class’ face would lead you to believe.

I like 70s films when they’re really soft focus and everything looks pretty and dreamy and everyone’s hair look shiny and all the jewellery sparkles, I want life to be like that
