I’ve been super busy for a few weeks, but I’m finally getting back to tumblr. I have two curated things for you. These are by no means the only important items that have come up, but they are very special. The first is a Virginal, by Esmerelda (a sort of 16th century harpsichord) at modthesims.info. This was the instrument Queen Elizabeth I of England liked to play.

PREHISTORIC LOTS FOR THE SIMS 4 

@socially-awkward-world​ requested for me to upload my prehistoric lots and here they are. The Ikipäivä’s camp I wasn’t able to upload since I’ve already altered it to Early Civilization. 

The Lots:

1. Prehistoric Camp #1 (Residential Lot)

  • A southern European type of lot with deciduous plants

Clay Oven Grill

I’m very surprised that no one has made something like this yet. This little beauty is cloned from the base game grill and works in just the same way! Now your ancient Sims can brew herbal remedies or grill up kebabs or whatever else your little heart desires! The design combines elements of clay ovens from all over the world (mostly those found in ancient Greece and Peru), so it can fit in nicely with whatever civilization you play. Enjoy!

I’ve tested this pretty extensively, but please let me know if you find any problems. Note that anything you grill will clip into any items placed on top of the oven. Those slots are more there for those who only plan to brew herbal remedies. ^_^

Default Replacement Easel Paintings for my Prehistoric Era from the History Challenge! ( The Sims 4 ) 

I made these Replacements, because I liked my simmies to paint something more similar to their era. :)

Important:

  • These Paintings replace all the Classic easel paintings in your game, also the ones already hanging on the walls.
  • When you remove this package from your game, your paintings will return to the standard EA ones that come with the game.
  • I only did the Classic ones as your only allowed to paint Classic, landscape and from scratch in the prehistoric era from the History Challenge.
  • When Making this I did not keep in mind the level you have to have for a certain painting, because I like them all evenly :))

  • Credits to Daisytighfield for making a quick tutorial without this I wouldn't know how to even begin.
  • Credits to the creators of the art, I take no credit for the design.

Here’s a little clutter set for those of you who enjoyed my swamp house :) 11 little objects that kinda go with the voodoo swamp house theme.

SIMS 4: SKYRIM LEAN-TO 

I found this Skyrim conversion for Sims 2 by Sunni and although it was too late for me to use it in my history challenge’s prehistoric age I was sure I’d come up with other ways to use it and so I converted it to Sims 4. Credit goes to Sunni of course whom I can’t thank enough for their work for Sims 2.

The lean-to can be found under lawn ornaments.

Padmé Amidala Series Part [13/?]

Refugee Disguise | One of my favourite designs, now available for your Sims in a galaxy far far away! This one took a lot of different techniques to make. It utilized almost all of my Photoshop tricks!

Inquisitive and FraidySim Traits “Update” (cute cat pictures)

Sims 4 Buff and Trait Factory and Sims4PackageEditor).

Inquisitive:  **I designed this trait for the Sim version of one of my cats.“ Inquisitive sims are always wanting to try something new. They gain energy quickly and lose it slowly, and they are naturally playful. If I had the Romantic Garden Stuff pack, they would have a lot of whims to make a wish; as it is, they want to try things like eating bugs and unidentified plant life. Because I based this trait on my real-life cat Viktor Borge, Inquisitive Sims also get whims to play the piano, just like he does.

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to keep up with new cc the way I like to. So I thought I’d do a themed shoutout to some people doing unique things with builds on TheSimsResource. This set is buildings intended to give your Sims in India, Pakistan, North Africa, and the Levant (the Arab world) some contemporary looking choices.

Second,Xanthia-love has made a number of lovely buildings inspired by India/Pakistan. Rahaat (Urdu for “respite”, she says) is a cool oasis in the desert. Mohendo Jaro is reimagines the great early monuments of Mohenjo-Daro as if it were preserved and turned into a spa. Rampur is a lovely Indian village home Simvinayak Mandir is a Hindu temple.
