One more movie magazine cover. Allen loved gardening and had an obsession with marigolds. Their home in Brentwood still has the yellow accents. Maybe Betty kept the yellow all these years as homage to her beloved.

Look at this picture of them saying their wedding vows. I just love the look on their faces. Allen- steady, strong, and never more sure of anything. Betty looking nervous. May all of us have someone in our lives that looks at us the way Allen looked at Betty!

Betty and Allen had a special song-Misty. Betty shared they would often dance to it and that she still got the chills every time she heard it. The lyrics are: Look at me, I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree

And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloud, I can't understand

I get misty, just holding your hand

Walk my way, and a thousand violins begin to play

Or it might be the sound of your hello, that music I hear

I get misty, the moment you're near

You can say that you're leading me on

But it's just what I want you to do

Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost

That's why I'm following you

On my own, would I wander through this wonderland alone

Never knowing my right foot from my left, my hat from my glove

I'm too misty, and too much in love

I'm too misty, and too much in love

Did you know that Allen had recorded an album back in the 60s? It is available on iTunes and Spotify.

Any Betty and Allen fans out there that would love to chat about this couple?

What’s truly worrisome in this whole “omg George is in a suit, poor child, let him be a child” convo is that there are people who as children never had to dress up. Yes, neither of us are heirs to any thrones but as a child I’ve attended a string of christenings, weddings, graduations, we even had to dress up for family Christmas and Easter dinners. Shocking, but my brothers, my cousins and I managed to grew up being mentally healthy. Like... kids don’t care. It’s the snowflakes who do.

It's the way their fingers react so much faster than their brains for me... I can assure you that following dress codes doesn't negatively affect a child's mental health. I don't even know what to make of the people who think George is going to experience trauma from wearing a suit.

It is so silly.. we were always dressed up in dresses, patent leather shoes and my mother couldn't brush my hair with enough tensile strength. Even if we just visited someone..

While I can't speak for everyone, I was super into dressing up when I was a child. Any opportunity to wear my fancier outfits was a treat for me. So much so that I used to change my outfits multiple times a day. I don't know why people are freaking out over... wearing garments. People have way too much time on their hands. The people who end up being able to dress well by themselves are the people who picked up those habits from childhood. I'm often surprised by the amount of adults who don't know when to wear what and where. Teaching George how to dress up for different occasions is all part of his training. It's just wearing clothes. Based on people's reactions you would think William and Catherine put him on a plane and sent him away for his first official solo overseas tour.

My sons love to dress up when they were little. One wore a tie and blazer to church every Sunday from about 4 years old until he was much older.

Olympic ice dancing champion Meryl Davis and her newlywed husband, Fedor Andreev, just finished their three-day destination wedding in the South of France — and there are no plans to turn around and throw a baby shower just yet.

“We’ve talked about it,” Davis, 32, tells PEOPLE of starting a family with Andreev, 37. “But it’s a little bit of a ways away.”

“Fedor and I have made no secret in our conversations together that we always talk about how we’re kind of late bloomers,” she explains. “While we absolutely love spending time with our friends’ kids and our cousins and family’s kids, we’re not quite ready.”

The couple, who wed on Saturday night in Provence after some nine years together, joke that they are already parents to one “fur child”: their 2-year-old mini sheepadoodle, Bilbo.

“We definitely feel like a little family unit already, and so once we feel like we’re ready then it’s going to be another discussion,” says Andreev. “But I kind of have a feeling it’s going to be another furry one before non-furry one.”

Raising a dog isn’t bad practice for the real thing, either.

“It’s interesting parenting a pet with your significant other,” Davis says. “I feel like you learn a lot about yourself … but also we’ve learned so much about each other, and I think it’s made us just fall in love with each other even more — watching each other co-parent and sort of figuring out how to be a team. Not just the two of us, but in taking care of something else.”

“I mean I know that sounds silly,” she says, “but it’s just such a great way to continue growing and evolving together and appreciating each other’s special qualities.”

After their weekend wedding festivities ended on Sunday night, Andreev and Davis remained in Provence, where they married in the backyard garden of Le Mas des Poiriers, to soak up a few more days with their families.

They have a honeymoon planned for later this year. Davis, who said in 2017 she would not continue competing, still tours extensively with longtime skating partner Charlie White. Andreev, an accomplished skater in his own right, now works as an entrepreneur.

The future awaits. Says Davis: “We’re just excited to continue going on adventures together.”
