After assuring himself that N wasn’t going to dash off immediately, Zed gave up towel-drying his brother’s hair and went to dig in the backpack again.  He’d seen a hot drink machine when they’d come in, and something hot to drink would both warm N up and hopefully keep him distracted enough not to run.

Vending machines were nice. It didn’t matter if you couldn’t read them. They had nice pictures, and they didn’t frown at you if you didn’t give them enough change like humans did. They’d just wait until you had, give you what you wanted, and give you whatever extra change there was.  Easy.

Once he’d found what looked like a sufficient amount of spare coins, Zed shrunk his Illusion back to covering just himself. “N, I’m getting you cocoa or something. Stay put.” When N just tugged the towel down to shade his eyes, Zed shrugged and turned his attention to Touko.  ”Do you have to call your boyfriend or something? I mean, it’s still raining, but you did say he was waiting.”

"Ah... I don't actually have one! Girls use that to keep creepy guys away most of the time..." What a world it had become. A world where girls had to fear creepy guys and use excuses like that. Oh well...

"Could you get me something too? I have money for it, so that's not a problem."

"People are really pretty, and interesting. How do you not like that many people? I mean it’s hard not to have crushes on so many people! I mean, I don’t know all their names.. but they’re still cute!"

"...Bianca, don't give them chocolate if you've never even met before! That's kinda creepy! And what if they want something in return?"

"I think I get where you’re coming from. Sounds like a lot of work, though." Even if it was was for a photo shoot. "But like I said, I don’t do anything with my hair… I guess she could try doing that for a while."
