Tesla vs Edison is truly a game of electrical innovation.

“Every time Tesla breaks into a new market, the media brings up the same concern: that electric vehicles will overwhelm electric grids, resulting in blackouts.”
"So, is that really true? … To answer it, Raymond James assumes that in 2017 there will be 1 million electric vehicles on the road, and that each one will use 5,400 kilowatt-hours per year in energy (equivalent to 10,000 miles driven). But because total U.S. electricity demand is so massive — it amounted to 3,735,000 gigawatt hours last year, where a gigawatt hour is equivalent to a million kilowatt hours — it turns out that these million EVs would be just .14 percent of total demand. That’s “barely a rounding error.”
It would take 7 million electric vehicles, they continue, to consume 1 percent of today’s total U.S. electricity demand.”
“In other words, if you happen to experience a blackout anytime soon, don’t blame EV charging!”
Took a test drive of the P85d! It was literally INSANE! 😱😂

Tesla plans biggest autonomous driving leap yet
When Tesla Motors releases the Model X this summer, it will also update its cars’ software to install the most advanced autonomous driving features on the market.
In a news conference Thursday, CEO Elon Musk revealed that a software update planned for later this year will allow an equipped Model S or Model X to drive short distances by itself on private property, as well as offer automatic steering features.”You will be able to hit the ‘Summon’ button on your phone, and the car will find you,” Musk told reporters in a conference call Thursday. “You can press it again and the car will put itself to bed in the garage, and close the garage door.”
