Kirk’s expression at the end here, he’s literally going: ‘I have you back, thank God, you’re back’ and Spock just nods, and he looks like he wants to apologize, but Kirk doesn’t need it, doesn’t care, as long as Spock is really back, really with him at last, he just doesn’t care about anything else.
