Nami blushed a bit once the realization of her actions fully hit her. “I guess it’s a blessing and a curse. I always try my best to be polite to others but at times like that… my instincts kick in before I’ve fully thought the situation through.” Shrugging a bit as she laughed. Waiting for Vartouhi to grab her drink before taking her own thanking Jimin. “I tend to have a bit of a sweet tooth year round.” Nodding as a smile spread across her lips while she followed behind the other girl over to the table. Tilting her head in confusion at her words before it clicked a second later. “Oh! I just meant that I was having an off day… You know when you have those days where little things just keep going wrong and they keep building and building on your nerves until you just need to let it out or you’ll feel like you will burst? That’s how my day has been so far.”

Vartouhi hummed thoughtfully, placing both of her hands around her mug to pick it up and bring it to her lips. She took a long sip as Nami spoke, and shrugged as she lowered her cup. “I suppose… in an ideal world, we would all think through things before we acted. Then we would be able to make the best decision for the circumstances every time. But we’re not always given the time to consider, realistically speaking. I think when you act on instinct, your truest most authentic self shows through. And in your case, that would be a strong-willed, compassionate person.” She smiled at her friend. “Ah, I know what you mean. Everyone has days like that. I usually bottle up the stress and then by the time I return home, I’m a mess of anxiety… It takes the rest of the night to unwind and settle my nerves.” She nudged her little plate of madeleines toward Nami, wordlessly encouraging her to take one. “Hopefully the rest of your day will be better. We only have a few hours until our shift is over, after all. Do you have any plans for your time off?”

I could use it after what happened “

Nami has been cleaning up after the last customer when she heard the bell above the door chime. “Oh I’m sorry but we’re closing for the day” she said as was finishing up cleaning the table not yet looking up to see who had walked in.
