Do not delete/uninstall Wildstar if you want to play on a private server. If you’ve already deleted, just run the launcher. The patch servers are allegedly running as of right now still so you can download the game. Do this immediately, as nobody knows when they will go down .

The Radioactive Man Who Returned To Fukushima To Feed The Animals That Everyone Else Left Behind

Naoto Matsumura is the only human brave enough to live in Fukushima’s 12.5-mile exclusion zone

He fled at first but returned to take care of the animals that were left behind

He returned for his own animals at first, but realized that so many more needed his help, too

Matsumura, who is 55 years old, knows that the radiation is harmful, but he “refuses to worry about it”

“They also told me that I wouldn’t get sick for 30 or 40 years. I’ll most likely be dead by then anyway, so I couldn’t care less”

Matsumura discovered that thousands of cows had died locked in barns

He also freed many animals that had been left chained up by their owners

Many of them now rely on him for food

The government has forbidden him from staying, but that doesn’t stop him either

He started in 2011 and is still going strong 4 years later

He relies solely on donations from supporters to work with and feed the animals

His supporters are calling him the ‘guardian of Fukushima’s animals’

The man clearly has a sense of humor as well

Winterfest in Thayd

If you ever wanted to know just how extra WildStar’s Espers are, behold the variety of swords and axes they can conjure. Somebody at Carbine decided that Espers needed to be able to conjure 15 different weapons. That’s dedication.

What is most likely the final lore post has been released, detailing what we would have seen in future zones, dungeons, and raids. We could have had so many more adventures, met all the Primevals, and learned more about the Eldan…

Finally! It’s a shame to see Wildstar go, but on the other hand it is amazing to see how the community sticks together. We had hopes till the end, and it’s so nice to see that we still have, now with the news about the museum preserving abandoned games. Who would have expected that so many people would gather and put so much effort into this farewell collaboration for this awesome game. I can’t describe how overwhelmed I am about all the amazing art of you guys. :D BTW feel free to upload your artwork now, if you haven’t already. ;-D

In case I didn’t place your character near someone else, I’m deeply sorry. In the end, time pressure was real and I probably forgot one or two requested placements. It were just too many entries and I don’t want to start about the technical difficulties on this. ^^; Using brushes was impossible, which is my excuse for these weird shadows. XD

I work with animals and this is true for me. No, I cannot eat sea stars out the touch tank no matter HOW good you think the cronch will be, brain.

This 100% was me at the zoo. Don’t touch Melon, he’s mean. Okay, but I have to touch Bob to make him get his stupid emu head out of my shirt, so what if I also touch Melon until he likes it? Sephiroth is angery because he has one wing and sometimes attacks people? I want to pet him also. Also he won’t get off the rock I have to clean anyway, surely a little pets on the good side will be fine. Martha and Stewart are assholes that tag-team while the pond is filling? I bet I could CUDDLE THEM. The female deer will excitedly nuzzle you in the stomach for feeding them. This is fine, because they don’t have antlers. The male deer is locked up while we’re putting out food because he will gouge you to death with his little nubby asymmetrical horns, because he thinks the females are doing it. The entire monkey enclosure will eat your fingers for a single fruit loop. They also have the smallest arms and can reach through holes they’ve made in the tarp on the gate to their enclosure. Do not hold hands with the monkeys. (2nd gen old man monkey will also pee on the keepers that don’t give him fruit loops. He is a jerk.) The rehabilitated bear that still sits like she’s on a couch because she did that when she was living in a crack house? Yes, she looks chill. Yes, she looks The Softest. No, do not pet her back through the fence. No, do not go into the corridor and try to offer treats for pets. Big Mac does not know he will break your ribs, but YOU know he will break your ribs. Do not enter Big Mac’s enclosure no matter how much he chuffs and displays his belly and rubs on the cage and looks sad. Yes, he genuinely wants pets. Yes, Pinkie is deliberately getting pets where he can see it as a sign of dominance even though she’s a housecat and he could eat her in approximately one bite. The turtle is mean. Period. He is an old man and he does not like you. He does not like the parrot getting fries and he does not like that he is in a kiddie pool to warm up because his enclosure lost power, and he does not like you behind him preparing food for the owls and raptors. Petting him will not help this. He will rock back and forth and mean mug you forever because he is a grumpy old man. All of the rabbits need more handling on principle. They don’t know you and they are very distressed that you’re taking their poop away. They can learn, a little, kind of. The guinea pig is insane and will not learn. Do not pet the guinea pig.

Wildstar Collaboration

All the feedback is amazing. Thanks so much for joining in. :D I created a doodle, where you can simply enter your name to participate. So I know who entered: https://doodle.com/poll/grt65w8waxenpfkq

Not the best thing to start this, but eh… it’s something XD.

So I was thinking a bit about how to put so many artists under the roof:

- Skill level or style is not important. You loved the game? Feel free to join. :)

-Please only draw one character. So many people want to enter and we’ll run out of space really quick.

- Please draw the character in your style, line and color it as you wish. The more different everything looks, the better. ;-)

- Pose and interaction with other artist friends is totally up to you. You can even work together if your characters want to hug each other, for example. The final product should look like a group picture or class photo. Characters might stack a bit or slightly overlap on the final work. Maybe this helps a bit finding your pose.

- Create a transparent PNG of your character, not less than 2000x2000px. Above is totally fine.

-When everything is done, please send it to retromissile@gmail.com, so I can put everything together for the final picture.

Deadline is 26th of October 2018.
