I needed a reboot start over thing with this blog, which I've actually been pondering for months, finally made one.
Haven't fucking used it at all. Made the pages and shit. and I like it. But have not reblogged or posted anything because I fear annoying myself or other people.
Plus I'm self conscious as shit and have really big problems with change. Even change as small as another blog. I don't know why.

A super girly and peppy blonde girl who wears bright pink dresses and skirts everyday is best friends with a quiet goth girl who of course sports all black clothing and big lace up boots. Someone jokes and yells to them “Hey look, a fairy and a vampire!” The blonde turns around and flashes a fanged grin and says “She’s human actually.”

Nick wasn’t sure if he wanted to defend himself over that, or if he wanted to take that in stride because kitten sneezes were fucking precious. And Nick, also, was fucking precious.
So for some unknown reason, he put on the gayest voice he could manage, and said, “Damn right I do, honey. Cutest fucking kitten you’ve ever seen.” a wink. Nice going, Nick. You didn’t make that awkward at all. And you definitely didn’t make yourself seem like the gayest man possible.
Nope. He couldn’t anymore. He just couldn’t as he pet him one last time and had to wipe the tears from his eyes. Melody couldn’t explain why he was laughing so hard, but it was likely finding someone as absurd as he was. Possibly even more so.
"Oh, God, I can’t anymore. I don’t know who you are, but you’re my new favorite person, holy shit." He shook his head, offering his hand. "I’m Melody Becker." Well, it wasn’t the strangest way to make a new friend. It’s not like the time he fell off the roof, landed on Lyric and said ‘sorry for dropping in.’
Nick was very pleased about making him laugh that hard. It was refreshing to actually get a laugh out of someone he didn't know rather than a fond eye roll. Plus his laugh was pretty nice to hear. It was kinda like music to his ears.
Now at this point he also let himself laugh, too. Really laugh. Which was kinda difficult to get him to do at times, but he was happy it happened. He loved laughing.
He took the offered hand and shook it. He used his normal voice this time. "Thanks, I try. Nice to meet you Melody Becker, I'm Nick." he took a breath and smiled. "So you're a cat person I take it." an amused smirk.

Goddammit. Melody was about to lose it again, but he was restraining himself to silent, body shaking laughter. God, why didn’t any of his friends react like that? Humans were fucking fantastic.
"Sure thing cutie pie." Melody winked before actually reaching out and petting Nick’s hair twice. Melody, that is not normal behavior, what the fuck?
This was friendship at first sight, he just knew it. Nick was close to doing the silent seal clapping laughter but he kept the seal clapping part to himself. But it was very clear from the look on his face that he was actually basically laughing his ass off a bit.
He paused just briefly to lean into the pets and make the human equivalent of a purring sound. "Then I'll purr for as long as you like, sugar." and he was back to the silent nearly laughing again. He liked this person. This person was fun.
"And people tell /me/ I have an adorable sneeze-- yours is even more so!"

Of all people to hear one of his rare sneezes, it had to be Jan. Because as it were, Nick almost never sneezed in front of people. He didn’t know why, but it never happened. Now it had. And he was fucking surprised about it.
His secret was out. That’s right, the bad ass mofo called Nick Monroe, sneezed like a newborn kitten every time.

Melody had only said it on reflex, it was just a way to fluster his friends when they sneezed and it ended up being really cute. Though, that reaction was not what he was expecting. He covered his mouth and tried not to laugh. Which failed miserably.
He was almost crying from attempting to keep it in but composed himself somewhat after a few moments. He would have tried to mimic Nick’s tone but he would have lost it half way through speaking. “Well, you’re not wrong kitty cat, you gonna purr for me?” Melody please, don’t make it worse.
Nick nearly started laughing himself, but managed to keep it to a very amused little smile, and a small giggle-snort. He always did like making people laugh if he could. Clearly he'd done a good job of that just then.
He kept the voice up. "That depends, sweetie, are you gonna pet me?" Nick, goddamn it.
