I found a monster under my skin. She’s all craving and wild, Long howls and strong limbs. She paces through my veins, Feet hitting earth like drum beats, I hear her coming when my blood sings. She’s got fire in her eyes, And prey in her teeth, Jaws like vows, unyielding, Iron like her will. I promised her the world, And she ate it whole, hungry still.

Just found your page. Youre a gorgeous woman. You remind me of Tila Tequla, if you know her. Can we just exchange usernames now? ;)

Isn't she Asian?

I used to hate using ‘love’ liberally. I felt it was a sacred word only to be used in very special occasions. Now that I’m older, I’ve come to the realization that love should be shared and felt and received with reckless abandon. Love these characters, love this food, love things in the moment, even if they may seem tiny and insignificant to others. I think it makes life a little more soft around the edges.

I'm 21 and engaged to a man who's about to go to basic training. I love him unconditionally so there's no doubt that I want to marry him, but I'm nervous about a few aspects of military spouse life. Do most wives work? I don't have a degree yet but have some credits and would like to earn a degree. I don't know what job I'd get on or off baseAlso, is it easy to make friends with other wives/women on base? I'm afraid my young age will make me left out. I really like your blog btw, it's pretty :)

Hey there sorry I haven't been on in a while. Honestly you have nothing to worry about! Some wives work and some wives choose to stay at home, it just depends on what you guys decide as a couple and has nothing to do with the military. I don't have my degree yet but still chose to work. As far as finding a job goes you'll have to wait until he gets assigned a base to start looking in the area. Making friends depends on you! Most military spouses are young! At least those that you'll meet through your fiancé's work. If you get involved in the spouses events I'm sure you will meet people. Having a job makes it easier to make friends in my experience. But honestly being married to a military member doesn't have anything to do with whether you work/go to school/stay at home🙂
