She read his name in his name tag. “Toshiro..” she drawled. “That is a cute name. It matches your hair” she grinned. “Hi, I’m Karin” she grinned. “Now, why won’t you accept my cookie?” she asked. If he was sick, it was her duty to help him. Isshin taught her to be so.

She had to tell him that. The guy in the store just wouldn’t stop looking at her with his exquisite yet very judgy turquoise eyes. She got frustrated. “I know it’s the fourth time this week, but I have a lot of crap to deal with” she sighed. “I’m sorry for lashing out in you like that” she said and opened a tin of chocolate chip cookies that she had just purchased. “Cookie?” she offered with a smile.
【十】—; Work as a clerk in a sweet shop wasn't something that a person with the same personality as him would find enjoyable. Several hours a day watching teenagers buying sweets and talking nonsense about various silly subjects was somewhat, unpleasant. But among all those young women, there was one that stood out from all the others. Although toshiro not pay attention, he was sure she had seen there at least three times that week. Maybe she simply liked sweets.
Turquoise orbs stared for a few seconds at the dark-haired girl when she stopped at the counter to pay for her purchase. Despite the noise produced by the girls in that small space, the day was calm, and it was almost lunchtime. His eyes strayed from her and focused on the box of cookies that she brought with her. The white-haired boy took the box of cookies and put it in a bag after her payment and handed it to her.
“I know it’s the fourth time this week, but I have a lot of crap to deal with”
His turquoise eyes stared back to her, narrowed in confusion. Why she was explaining something to him? No, seemed more like she was defending herself. It wasn't like he had asked her, accused her or anything. Such a pain.
His lips parted, ready to say something about it when she opened the box of cookies and offered one to him, with a smile.
❝ No, thank you.❞
He replied briefly to the girl, his voice was cold, distant, indifferent. Refusing her offer without another word. It wasn't his intention to be thick, he just wasn't used to hearing this kind of question.
