Well, you know, to say that he couldn’t harm somebody with what he did—he could, absolutely, he could. But to cast him out, to make him invalid in society simply because he has scissors for hands—I mean, that’s strange. People didn’t get scared until he started sculpting shrubs into dinosaur shapes and whatnot.

CNN booked Twitter comedian Jon Hendren (@fart) instead of Al Jazeera reporter John Hendren for an interview about Edward Snowden, and he answered all questions as if they were about Edward Scissorhands.

How is Spiderman being whitewashed? I mean, Miles Morales is one of the Spidermans in the Marvel Multiverse, but he is only one and isn't even in the main MU. I'm a bit disappointed they aren't already jumping into a Gwen Stacy SpiderGwen movie. I understand the frustration with the lack of representation, but calling whitewashing on a predominantly white character is a bit silly.

I was referring to media/comic books being heavily white-centric. I don’t care if Peter Parker is a white character, there is a plethora of white male superheroes and it’s p fucking boring. Whitewashing was probably the wrong term to use, but you get me.

It’s whitewashing what Peter Parker represents. An average kid from Queens. The average kid from Queens doesn’t look like like fucking nate wolves

Until it’s officially announced as Natathee Butterfield , I will shout Tony Revolori into the agape mouths of naysayers.

There is plenty to not like about the new Netflix Daredevil but there is a really really really well directed scene at the end of episode two that is so worth watching.
