* so, bro, why are you singing this? BECAUSE IT’S CATCHY AND IT’S MELODIOUS MELODY INSPIRES ME TO BE A GREATER PERSON! IN FACT! I AM GOING TO START LEARNING JAPANESE TO UNDERSTAND THE LYRICS TO THIS SONG!

* i wouldn’t do that if i were you

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, SANS?

* think about it, if you learn japanese, that means i can make twice as many puns when you are around AH, FORGET IT! I WILL STICK TO LEARN HOW TO IMPROVE MY PASTA COOKING SKILLS! AND THEN, MY MACARONI COOKING SKILLS!

(Papyrus storms off and Sans wipes his forehead)

* well, that was close ((ust from Kazuo Otomi))

Beware of Amy Fischer!

(Cross-posting from Twitter)

I recently received a commission email from someone who claims to be an accountant working for Team Cherry, and everything said in the content sounded too good to be true and highly suspicious.

THEY ARE A SCAMMER!! And to show further proof besides the obvious red flags (accountant hiring fanartists for official assets? TC’s FAQ said they don’t need to hire, main animator is Ari Gibson yet he wasn’t even mentioned, and TC would have made an official announcement, along other things.), with permission, I have included the screenshots of my friend who also received this email literally minutes before I got this.

As you can see, they mentioned my Art Twitter name (and misgendered me when clearly I go by They/Her) claiming to be my “best friend.”

If that 180 in terms of tone and writing in these emails isn’t enough to convince you then I don’t know what is.

DO NOT ACCEPT ANY COMMISSIONS FROM AMY FISCHER!!

I don’t think they’ll stick with just HK artists so please beware!

ok can we agree that the WORST feeling is when you’re just sitting around consciously procrastinating and you’re just overly aware that each second that passes is more time wasted and you like watch hours pass and you’re STILL procrastinating and you CANT STOP and your panicked brain is trapped inside a body that refuses to be productive and inside you’re screaming but outwardly you’re just eating chips

Oh

Damn

(I’m literally doing that rn)

executive dysfunction is something that quite a few people struggle with, including myself.

it’s a hallmark trait of several mental illnesses, possibly the most notable and common being adhd and depression.

executive dysfunction is characterized, in simple terms, as knowing what needs to be done and wanting to do it, but experiencing a sort of paralysis that prevents you from taking the necessary steps to complete it.

allow me to present an example

you can KNOW that you have an essay due next week, and you can have full access to the time and resources needed to complete the essay, but there’s some unidentifiable, yet insurmountable mental barrier that’s preventing you from just sitting down and doing the essay.

you find that you have the energy to clean the bathroom, reread the third harry potter book, and rewatch all of sherlock. but you literally CANNOT force yourself to just open the word document and start typing.

you can stress yourself out about it to the point of tears. you can give yourself all the self-imposed ultimatums in the world. you can sit in front of a blank document for hours.

but you can’t do the essay.

you feel lazy, stupid, incompetent. this should’ve been easy, everyone else got it done, why couldn’t you?

so anyway, that’s executive dysfunction. if you experience something similar to that on a regular basis, lemme tell you right now that YOU ARE NOT LAZY OR STUPID. actually, many of the people who struggle with executive dysfunction are overachievers or exceptionally intelligent people. the universe had to nerf us with an inability to get things done, or we would’ve taken over the earth by now.

if you’ve somehow come to the conclusion that you struggle with executive dysfunction, i would highly recommend talking to a professional. there’s probably an underlying cause that can be worked on with meds and/or therapy.

if anyone has any more questions, feel free to contact me! i probably have answers or can refer to someone who does!
