Elvis performed on tour at the Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis, Missouri, at 8:30 pm. He wore the Chicken Bone suit with the original belt.

During “You Gave Me a Mountain,” a blonde-haired woman ran up on stage and tackled Elvis in an affectionate bear hug, making him miss a verse of lyrics, and security pulled her off of him. Rumor had it, the next day, Elvis vowed he would never play St. Louis again… and he didn’t.
