Hello, there! My name is Rae and my blog basically consists of the random geeky things I adore! I am also chronically ill (I have Lyme disease, bartonella, babesia, thyroid disease and fibromyalgia) so I will occasionally post about that. (Icon and background are both mine-you can check out my calligraphy blog @thelikesofus)

“For an impression, I just find that I can do a lot of the people I love without much research, because I’ve already watched hours and hours of them on video and it seeped into my brain while I wasn’t thinking about it.”

she’s only 62

Right? Only? When I read this book in the first grade it felt like she was ancient. But damn less than 60 years ago schools were still segregated

I double checked her age in case this was an old post still floating around tumblr, but it is correct. She turned 62 yesterday (9/8/16). Excuse me while I go try to wrap my mind around this now…

aaron tveit: was offered a full ride scholarship to an ivy league school, was a violin prodigy at age 4, also plays french horn, in high school was the president of a business club he created + played three sports + was the lead in all the musicals + took AP classes + had a job working construction, knows ASL and speaks spanish, was classically trained to sing by an opera singer, learned to play guitar for a role that had a rehearsal process of one week, is generally extremely intelligent

also aaron tveit: can’t spell the word “pink,” eats craft glitter because he thought it would be funny, considers ‘clapping with one hand’ to be his special talent, doesn’t know how to react when people try to fist bump him, gives hand-embroidery as gifts, once almost knocked someone over trying to hug them too fast because he finally found out “who in the heck” had sent him a bobblehead of himself, dances like:

I couldn’t be more in love with him.
