hey! omg ok so i actually have so many Thoughts - way too much to put here - but i actually already knew what happens in the end bc i'd read the manga as soon as it came out, i just didn't have the time to watch the anime as it was being released ~

but yeah i’m still not ok lmao the ending broke my heart and idk what to do with myself… i think it was a masterpiece imo, the foreshadowing and overall story was insane, hands down one of the best series i’ve ever watched in my life

ok but imagine how cute it would have been if mikasa had confessed to eren at the refugee camp and they had an impromptu wedding right there and then, surrounded by their closest friends and their new turkish besties - the men give eren a fez and the women drape a scarf over mikasa’s head and the little old grandad who offered them tea at the beginning is the one who marries them, and they spend the rest of the night playing music and dancing and singing well into the early hours of the morning, until they pass out from exhaustion and happiness 🤧
