Been watching bits of Bluey
They really went there huh.
@acelacealex i thought people should see this
He moves like one of them tools from Handy Mandy-
when did this happen???
so we're just not gonna have a national conversation about how Boeing killed one of their own employees to keep him from talking to the press
like we're really not gonna address the fact that he died of a "self inflicted head wound" literal hours after Boeings lawyers asked him to stay an extra day. We're not gonna speak on the fact that he told his family "if I die, it wasn't suicide " before he went to go testify. None of it huh
Oh? You haven't heard? I'm not surprised with how hard the media are parrying it
THAT TOO. LMFAOOO
Packed my husband a slice of cake with his work lunch and he sent me this
I am losing my mind over this.

as much as i love inat it also fills me with incandescent rage. why can i conveniently select from like 5 different vertebrate groups in the filtering system but if i wanna go to algae i have to manually enter the phylum name. the fact that every blurry half-visible bird pic gets research graded within 0.5 seconds while my carefully put together and extremely identifiable Potentilla villosa observations with multiple photos of every ID characteristic necessary languish for literally years until i rope my irl colleagues into IDing them for me. why is there STILL no sporophyte/gametophyte annotation option when it would be appropriate for multiple different groups and people have been begging for it for years on the forums. but there are like 10 different annotation options for animals. i fucking hate it here
i just think it should be a fucking priority for citizen science to. you know. encourage observations of neglected groups. like the reasoning ive seen given for the lack of gameto/sporo annotations is that it wouldn't matter biologically (ok so why do we have flowering annotations then? timing of reproduction matters), no one would be able to tell the difference (patently untrue, lots of things have heteromorphic alternation of generations) and no one would use them (HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT IF WE DON'T HAVE THEM????)
it's just so clearly animal bias in action and it drives me up the fucking wall
Lmao at this lesbian cable worker who said this right in front of Dick Cheney when fixing his internet. What a hero.
amen brother…
dandelions deserve more respect than they get
you say “weeds” I say “widespread non-native edible plant and early-blooming pollinator resource that is not considered invasive because it behaves politely and does not cause deleterious ecological consequences”
The dandelions aren’t gonna fuck you bro
they have and they will
I FUCKING TOLD YOU HE WASNT DEAD
He's a wee bit dumb when it comes to other's emotions-
