                   the other’s fear of mere water was staring to get to the king. first the storm, then the rain, and then the poor idiot wanted to hide in a cave, and now he can’t even climb into trees. the king had quite a liability on his hands but that never stopped him before.                   he thought and thought, huffing as he did so, before coming up with a semi-solid idea. “we need to go to hill. the hills.” he repeated and bravely stepped out of the cave. he began running at an awfully slow pace towards higher ground knowing it would give the other no option but to follow.

        ❝  h-hey wait up ~ ! ❞   the sudden running caught him a bit off guard, hesistating if he wanted to follow, but he figured it was in his best interest to. mark carefully stepped out of the cave, and paced himself to follow behind the other --- of coursed concerned about everything and anything.

        ❝  aw ~ yeah i know no one has to smile to be happy buuuut . . . ❞   he took that as a sign to back off really, his own smile dropping and hands moving away from the other in a bit of quick manner as he just put his arms back to his side. mark had the look of guilt on his face, but he tried to hid it with a petite smile and a nervous laugh.   ❝  at least for me, it helps me know well . . . that you are happy! . . . that's how i read people best i guess . . . sorry. ❞

        he backed away from the bucket with a worried and guilty look on his face, hands up as though an officer asked him to put them up at --- but not that high. mark frowned though, putting his hands down with the man asked him why he was here, and well . . . shrugged, just looking a bit sad now. ❝  well ~ if you must know . . . i got nothing. but! --- my question for you now is why ya got a bucket in your office? . . . was the ceiling leaking? ❞

        head tilted to the side in confusion before he was shown a brightly colored box with colors of pink and red. he blinked in a bit of confusion —- well aware of what it was for, but what it was; that was another guess on his part. in opening the gift, he gasped, unsure of what to say initially but he smiled and hopped in his place as she said happy valentines day. he put down the box on the table gently and gave her the biggest hug he could — amazed that she was even going to get him something on such a small holiday. ❝  jesus ada … thank you so much ~ you’re the best. ❞
