This week on #FLFC, we watched BOUND with the flawless Lauren Conlin Adams (soon-to-be-star of NBC's "Tooken"!!!) and the incomparable Anna Callegari.

If you've never seen or heard of BOUND, here's whatchu need to know:

  • It's a lesbian neo-noir thriller starring Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon.
  • It's the directorial debut of the Wachowski's. (They made The Matrix, in case you've been living under a rock/you're under 23.)
  • It was made for basically zero dollars and is visually stunning.
  • IT'S EXTREMELY SEXY & SCHEMEY.

Click it or ticket, baby.

OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN

When it comes to #SexyScheme movies, INDECENT PROPOSAL is one of our all-time favorites. Directed by Adrian Lyne, this movie has everything: SEX. MONEY. POWER STRUGGLES. TRUST ISSUES. OLIVER PLATT. JAPANESE BUSINESSMEN. SCOTTISH STAND UP COMEDIANS.

Watch us talk to Jenny Donheiser  and Meagan Kensil about ALL OF IT. YAYYAYAYA!

FUNNY LADY SNACK TIME: CRUEL INTENTIONS

The only appropriately inappropriate snack for a Cruel Intentions viewing is one you can lick, preferably one that will keep you from uh, erm, well... ya know, they’ll keep you cool!

Make your own Watermelon Popsicles in the freezer with a recipe from Eat Yourself Skinny. They’re healthy, so you won’t feel bad about having to eat the whole tray just to get through the whole movie. -- MK

Meagan Kensil is a scrappy comedienne. She’s a co-creator of Roomsies, producer-writer-performer for Lady Products, writer-doodler for I Scream News Cream, and a pretty okay cook. Follow @Meagan_Pencil to keep up with all her shenanigans.meagankensil.flavors.me

FUNNY LADY SNACK TIME: BABY BOOM

In my fantasy sequel to Baby Boom, I imagine J.C. starting a Country Baby line of baked goods that is of course, wildly successful. Not for nothing, applesauce itself is a fantastic baking ingredient. It’s often easily substituted as a healthier alternative to oil or butter. Also, it’s delicious! And adds just the right amount of extra moist chewiness! Who doesn’t love a chewy oatmeal cookie?!

I tried this recipe for Zucchini Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies from Two Peas and their Pod and I feel  very confident in saying that it is a great snack for both the powerful businesswoman on-the-go and the sweet apple-picking, sex-starved, frazzled mom that live inside us all. -- MK

Here's a suggestion: You ladies are totally awesome and I really enjoyed the first episode of the show. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to what else you have in store (especially 9-5). Ok, maybe that wasn't technically a suggestion. I don't really know what words mean.
