Irene's famous flat is a £1.4m house inside

Guys, guess what I found! The real life house of Irene Adler 😍 It turns out that they filmed her flat in London (44 Eaton Square) in 2 locations, and one of them is this house. I've never seen these photos before. People who lived in the house kept Irene's famous black wallpaper and the bathroom looks completely the same. The living room looks darker and different now, the decorators used very light colors here and glamour details like floor lamp with chrystal beads. But it's so cool to see the whole picture now. And yes, £1.4m back in 2020. So her! Also one of the 'Doctor Who' episode was filmed here (that staircase!) The House is soo big, so British. I'm in love. The Article and all photos is here

lemme rb and tag with sherlock wallpaper, so those blogs will show up in tag search. i know i follow them, but nouns are the bugaboo.

Dunno if they count as hq, but you're welcome to use these desktops I made from Sherlock wallpapers:

Idk if you're still on here years later, but the fleur-de-lis Zoffany wallpaper seems to be out of production. Aside from the ripoffs available, do you happen to know where the original might still be for sale? The links to the *actual* original no longer work

Oh, that's very sad.

I didn't find it anywhere obvious online (eBay, etc.), so my best suggestion would be to go through a professional decorator. They have access to supplies that aren't available to/are difficult to find for the general public.

I was browsing for wallpaper and found a very cool pattern from a UK brand (Cole and Son, linked in first image description) and in the process I think I stumbled on the clouds from the 'therapist's office' in TLD!

Which I just thought was neat! (But I will not be using it for my bedroom)

good finding! yes, there is a blog here devoted to the wallpapers in sherlock, but in typical fashion, i cant think of the name when i want it.

aha, remembered to use the tag to search my own reblogs! (just had to wake up a little bit more) @redbuttonhole and @stepfordgeek are the wallpaper sleuths. @lillysliterature i don't know if you have delved into the wallpaper that much yet, but it's pretty wonderful.
