The blueprints behind "The Architect": Seth Rollins' 7 coolest moves

By now, we know The Shield comprises three distinct elements. Dean Ambrose brings the unpredictable lunacy, Roman Reigns shatters foes with his punishing force and Seth Rollins is, simply put, The Architect of the group.
Don’t get it twisted. Such a moniker doesn’t mean Rollins carries around tape measures, engineering scales and CAD software from arena to arena. Rather, his CrossFit-conditioned body and the 20-by-20 squared circle are the only tools of his trade. Instead of laying out his brilliant designs on sheets of tracing paper, Rollins does so inside the ropes, unleashing captivating moves that few can hope to replicate. And inspiration? Heck, Rollins is way more likely to glean concepts from Y2J than I.M. Pei.
You get what we’re saying. As George Costanza would attest, there is simply no higher aspiration than to be an architect, and fortunately for The Hounds of Justice, they have one in Seth Rollins. With that in mind, WWE.com touched base with The Architect himself to learn more about the blueprints behind seven of his wildest in-ring designs.

Dean Day Report!!!

Ok…. I welcome you all into DEAN DAY. The 2 hours I spent with the one and only Dean Ambrose.

At around 2:30 on May 4th, I waited backstage with my mom. Everywhere I looked, there were WWE Superstars. Just arriving, going to catering, getting dressed, doing pre-tapes. I just happened to look down the talent hallway and I see this tall, extremely handsome man. His hair is all curly and he’s carrying the hound mask that he wore at WM30 this year.

Yep, you guessed it. Dean…

He puts the mask into a bag that a crew person gave us and he says “Hey. I kinda already wore this. I hope you don’t mind.” Of course I didn’t mind at all. Nope. Not one bit. He shook my hand and I could feel the blood rush out of my head, I instantly got dizzy. The last time something like this happened to me, was when I met CM Punk (another one of my saviors). I instantly regained, and kept, my composure throughout the day.

We took our first picture together and I thought Ah what the hell, I’ll show him my drawings. I’m honestly surprised at how interested he was. He didn’t just look at them and say nothing, he asked to go back to some so that he could look at them more.

Our first adventure was into the arena… Man, was that amazing… He showed me the usual things: the weapons that they had yet to stash underneath the ring, the mini announce table, the regular sized announce table. He then brought me over to the WWE Network desk. I said hello to Josh Mathews (who is a total sweetheart, btw) and Dean made one of the weirdest comments ever. He stood there, resting his hand on the edge of the table, and said “This glass looks really nice… I kind of want to put somebody through it…” No. Not a good idea. But, hey. Violence is his thing, isn’t it? After we said our goodbyes, Dean took me back to the broadcasting tables and I got to say hello to Cesaro, JBL, and John Cena. They were all in the middle of a conversation, so I didn’t get to speak to them that much.
