I will be sure to keep in mind to draw more prince todoroki’s when I have the time to then ;-)Ahhh art blocks totally suck!! I hope you can conquer this one soon! There are usually 2 things that I do when I encounter art blocks!1. I take a break. Usually a few days to a week (though it can be longer depending on each person!) and I just play video games or I watch youtube videos! Also, going outside is very good, since I am usually cooped up at home all day drawing, so sometimes, you just need a good change of pace. I will go out to watch the movies or walk around town and explore for a few hours! Anything that can help you get out of the “I need to produce a drawing right now or else..” mindset. I think that is very important, because stress can definitely impact how well you draw and even just mentally shut you down! So I recommend going outside, playing games, or doing something new you don’t usually do! Give your brain a break sometimes, and your hands too!2. Another thing that works super well for me is to read other manga (or watch anime, depends on the person!). Once I read a good manga it inspires me to draw fanart of THAT. Now personally I am usually only drawing one fandom’s fanart, but sometimes, I feel like doing something different. So in my free time when I am running low on inspiration, I will make myself try to draw fanart of another series! It kinda breaks my brain out of the little fandom box I constructed myself, and kinda gives another feeling or even meaning to drawing that you sometimes lose sight of when drawing the same thing over and over. It can help you slowly get back into the groove of drawing, and even help you create new ideas that you can transfer over to your original fan drawing (if you draw for only a specific fandom!) Kinda draw all different types of characters, not just the same type, from different artists too! Sometimes I just want to breathe a little mentally as well! Since I personally feel like everyone draws a little differently depending on the fandom they are drawing (ex. me drawing Bakugou and me drawing Naruto = a little bit different drawing style) and I think that can also help you feel more refreshed! Just try some new things basically ^^ Don’t give yourself the pressure to always have to draw the same thing over and over!I hope what I wrote made sense, haha!! TOT Another small thing is maybe if you always draw digitally to try traditionally, or traditionally to try digitally! That is what I would do 3rd if the top 2 don’t work, but usually I find it works well for me ^^ I hope you can regain your inspiration soon, and I wish you super good luck!! ^O^
