             “WELL IF IT ISN’T M’FAVOURITE.” It’s all dry sarcasm that leaves the murderer’s chapped, split mouth. Lies. Bullshit. He favors nobody but himself, holds himself in high opinion and high regard. Always has. That’s why he doesn’t feel any GUILT or SHAME when he cuts down lives brutally short. Lives like hers. Holds some sort of God complex, that he’s better than absolutely everyone and anyone. Why he was granted a second chance at TORTURING AND MAIMING SOULS in the afterlife. Apparently killing five kids once wasn’t enough, and he’d been blessed with being able to cause havoc on their miserable afterlives, reigning down terror again & again. “What’re you doin’ roamin’ the halls so late, Missy Marionette? Not out tryna CAUSE SOME HAVOC, I’d hope. Y’know that’s my job.

Upon hearing the words slither out of his mouth, the girl’s expression instantaneously contorts into one of resentment and disgust. She hates him, loathes the way he carelessly strolls around as though he’s some kind of god, despises how, in this morbid turn of events, he’s here in this HELL with the children, with her.

What irks Mari most are the LIES. The lies that slip so easily from his lips, the lies everyone knows are lies , the lies he tells because he’s so  e n t i r e l y  AWARE how much they despise them. She’s consumed with hate by the time she faces him to respond, leaving her tone as dead and cold as ice.
