Ok so today I got really angry at Snape again because I was thinking about Neville, and how with all the shit Harry went through Neville had it so much worse.
Yes, James and Lily died but being an orphan is a relatively normal thing compared to your parents being tortured to the point of insanity for no reason other than Bellatrix was chosen to go after them.
So Neville only ever knew his parents as these broken shells of people whilst being raised by a grief striken grandmother. And then he gets to school, a place where he should be safe, and he gets bullied by a fucking teacher!!!
A man who KNEW how insane Bellatrix was, and how much she delighted in performing the cruciatus curse on them because she's a deranged sadist. And Severus Snape has the AUDACITY to target, and psychologically torture this poor kid from day fucking ONE!
