Just out here doing mum things like lugging 20lbs on my front despite having 2 surgeries on my torso in the last 6 months 😅

I’m not really sure why you think our lives should be compared like that?

Plenty of people get married and have kids younger than me, that’s just life.

Comparing yourself to others in this way will never result in anything positive.

Who knew that all I needed to do to lose weight was breastfeed.

I’ve lost 37lbs in the 4 months since L was born. Now sitting 21lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight 🤯

Eating all the usual rubbish so I’m sure it’ll all go back on whenever this breastfeeding journey of ours ends

Can’t believe we’re almost 3/4 of the way there

Sadly my dreams of an active pregnancy were dashed pretty early on with back and hip pain that finally (only last week!) got diagnosed as ‘pelvic girdle pain’ (delightful name). They wanted to sign me off for the rest of the pregnancy but sick pay is so bad it would eat up my savings for mat leave so I’m just going to work from home more and get pulled off certain tasks at work (basically anything on my feet).

All in all, hardly a walk in the park but there’s an end date in sight and I know it will be so worth it ❤️

Maybe I should be, but I’m honestly not. I feel as though I’ve waited my whole life for this!

I think my years of nannying have helped too, because I am very used to looking after little ones (and not so little ones).

I am very nervous about her exiting my body though 😂
