"I define a 'good person' as somebody who is fully conscious of their own limitations. They know their strengths, but they also know their 'shadow' - they know their weaknesses. In other words, they understand that there is no good without bad. Good and evil are really one, but we have broken them up in our consciousness. We polarize them." ~ John Bradshaw //Indi RP/Ask blog for Loki Multi-Verse and Multi-Ship Crossovers are welcome as well as canon muses and OCs Tracking: thieveryliesandemeraldeyes >> Main!Verse taken by Bane

Hey..how long has this honestly been? Who wants to do the thing? Hahaha, don’t have a stable internet thing, but I would be willing to come on here once a week..?

I miss this place and I’m too lazy right now (busy..?) to remake an account. Life.

Hiatus..clearly..so sorry

I figure since I am at a computer at a library I figure I can put people at ease that wondered where in Valhalla I had gone! xD Anyway, I've had a hectic life since the last time I graced this place. I must let you know that my absence here is going to continue until I can actually get internet back at my home. I hope everyone is well and miss me and Loki, or Loki, either way xD

I’m sorry that I haven’t been around at all really. I, met the love of my life and soul mate I’m sure of and ever since he left on deployment, I’ve been a little..absentminded. I will continue to try my best coming on here, but I don’t know how well that will work out. I also have only one day off a week now so that will be interesting. Please stick with me? You guys keep me from deleting this little guy :3

Phoenix Fire

Standing on top of a rather large hill Loki could see the carnage going on down below. Laketown was aflame in the body of water and there was nothing that the people could do except swim. How long would it take for them to kill the beast? He didn’t care for he would get the dragon either way.

Just as these thoughts crossed his mind large wings folded around the long, writhing body before the fire inside died out from death. “What a way to go.” Nonchalantly the god smirked before fading away only showing up two hours later.

Walking among the ruble, embers, and the dead he was reminded of those times in his youth he would slaughter with Thor and they would be innocents just like these. He gave them no pity. “They should have been stronger.” He mumbled to the cold air. When he turned the corner he found the dragon still among the water and buildings and as he stepped closer and closer the the head he began mumbling words in a forgotten language.

By the time Loki got to the head it was now a human one. Bending down he studied him before speaking to the naked man. “My my, what a beast you are.” He smirked and continued. “It will be easier to transport you this way.” With a single cool touch to a warm shoulder they disappeared from the site only to reappear in a far off cabin in a long forgotten town of the Northmen beyond the Grey Mountains.

Setting the man on the straw bed and covering him up to the waist he began his work on healing him. As he finished he felt completely drained, but he had no time to take a nap when he could see the other beginning to wake.

Smaug remembered the seething rage within him, but he also remembered the pain. And the fall. Down, further and further, until the lake’s cold waters had gripped him, draining the last, hopeful flickers of what used to be an inferno in his chest.

But there was something else, another sensation that his body could not place. In fact, he did not understand until he opened his eyes and everything seemed so… big. He was in a bed that seemed to just fit his size, and in his confusion, it took him several moments to notice the other figure in the room.

The dragon immediately tensed his muscles - where were his wings? - and bared his teeth in a snarl, but the sound that escaped his throat sounded so human that he was almost tempted to laugh.

Until he pieced it together.

And instantly, the rage in his eyes made way for sheer and utter panic as he realised what he was.

“Who are you? What did you do?”

Loki glared at the unwanted anger the beast had and rolled his eyes at him.

“If you need to know I am a..man who saved your life. For that to happen I needed you to be travel size, so to speak.” He waved his hand up and down in the air to indicate the massive body sitting up a bit and got up only to yawn. “If you want to rip out my throat go ahead and try. Although..I might, enjoy iiiiit.” He yawned once more and cursed the world they were in.

Having his back to the stranger, he made one last thing before turning back around with it. “I am going to apply some of this ointment to prevent any infections that might occur. If you could, lay down.” Through gritted teeth the words came from a tongue poked out to lick drying lips. Waiting patiently a good two feet away the god became impatient. “What, do you hate this vulnerable body? I quite like it to be honest, makes you seem like a beast among men..while you look like one.”

A laugh tried to bubble up, but it only proved to be a huff caused from his dry throat.

Night time had fallen upon Asgard and flames along the paths through out the kingdom lit the people’s way on their late night travels. Loki was not one of these people, but later on that night he had every reason to start. He was in his bed reading another book from the libraries when he could feel a change in the winds. It could very well be a strange storm coming - for which he might be blamed for - or it could be an intruder from another world.

The longer the prince thought about it, the more it gnawed at his curiosity. So he sat the book aside, swung himself to the side of the bed, and laced up his boots before walking to the balcony. He was no Heimdall or Odin, but he tried to seek out what might be the cause just by his gut feelings. He knew what storms were like here and he was sure that this was no storm now. “What are you?” Where are you the raven haired male thought. If he got there first maybe nobody would have to know he was there..just yet.

Grabbing a coat and a dagger he disappeared from his room to near the forest where one of the hidden doors between worlds were. It was better to check there when so many over the years had stumbled through.

Strangely he came back to their situation when he felt warm hands against his wrists, making his racing heart come down. Nodding he pulled his string and gave a firm nod with a small smirk. “Now would be a perfect time to try yours!” Loki knew the ground was coming soon even with the parachute out, but, what about Thranduil? He said they wouldn’t be friends, right?
image
Well, damn. Cursing under his breath he struggled to grabbed the taller teen and just as he pulled him against his body, almost instantly they tumbled to the ground.
This was definitely all his fault. Who knew what they were going to face for the pour excuse this all was. Slowly opening his eyes Loki could see blonde hair sticking about every which way making him blow some out of his face. “Hey you. You alright?” Which did he want first: the yelling from Thranduil or the one they were about to get?

All the curse words he knew echoed in his head, and he groaned at the impact his back made on the ground. It wasn’t as HARD as he thought it would be, but it wasn’t soft, either. It didn’t help that Loki was on top of him, pressing almost all of his body against his. So he might not have been muscular, but dropping right to the ground from 10,000 feet with a barely ejected parachute made Loki feel like several anvils on top of him.

                       ❝ Damn you’re heavy. ❞

He could barely make out the white lines that marked their target, and he let out a deep breath, his head flopping back to rest on the grass. Merlin appeared above him then, saying they’d finished that round, while the other trainees began landing, the last one nearly ramming right into a nearby tree trunk.

Image

Getting up he couldn’t help but to laugh. “Oh? Heavy am I? Maybe I should put all my weight on you next time.” Which, to be truthful, that was all his weight. Having no yelling come from the teen below he smiled even more, until he saw Merlin glaring at him, to which he quickly changed back to a blank expression.

“Good job on the execution.” Merlin said to them all as they stood and grouped. “For those of you who missed the circle, you’ve failed. Please, gather your things and you will be taken home shortly after. As for you two.”

Loki swallowed hard. Great here it comes.

“Seeing as you two feel the need to drink - and not responsibly - how about an extra challenge of wits? Follow me.” Without even waiting for them he walked away, leaving the raven haired teen speechless..momentarily. “It is my fault he is like this.”
