Inner Mass Effect Monologue

Bioware: We have this new Mass Effect game and it will be awesome!

Me: Owh I want to know how everyone did! Garrus, Liara, Wrex, Grunt, Kasumi! Shepard did survive right?! Like in the GOOD ending (kinda)

Bioware: There will be no Shepard, everything will be shiny and new and BETTER

Me: .... no Sheppy?

Bioware: No, even better! Now you’ll get twins to spicen up your intergalactic sexlife!

Me: no Garrus and Sheppy?

Bioware: NO SHEPARD! Forget about Shepard! Look at how we made all these new and fantastic golden worlds! And these new companions are really good too, trust us!

Me: .... Not even a Sheppy the Volus?

Bioware: ... Not even a Sheppy the Volus

When I grew up my parents said I was named after a French model, later I found out my name was pretty popular as one part of a kind of macabre romeo/juliet story from Portugal (although this one historical). But the name never fit. Inez is most commonly written as Inès and wasn't all that common in my country at the time.

So I'm pretty stoked I got a suffragete :D Albeit one who died way too young.

Although if I'm honest, I'm more scared about all the extreme political results all over the world. I really hoped I would not see another racist/ego-centrist/bafoon.

Multiple reports confirm that two explosions in the departure hall of Brussels Zaventem airport have killed at least 11 people and injured 81 more on Tuesday morning. Another explosion in Brussels less than an hour later at Maalbeek Metro station killed at least 15 and injured 55 more, officials say, bringing the death toll from the explosions in the city to at least 26, with 136 more people injured.

Though no group has yet taken credit for the deadly explosions, the timing of the blasts occurs just four days after a major terror arrest in the city. This is a developing story.

A very weird day today. I stepped on a train this morning just after the news came in, and it hasn’t stopped since. Always when you thought it couldn’t get worse .... For real? Nails? How sick of a person do you have to be to harm people in such a cruel way. Ik zou zeggen “Pray for Belgium” maar wat er vandaag gebeurd is, is te erg. Ik hoop gewoon dat in de volgende dagen alle belgen zullen samenwerken om dit te verwerken.
