Let’s get personal. According to expert Dr. Russo, russo310, individualized screening is the future of imaging in women’s health. Figuring out ways to use new screening technology for patients with dense breasts and finding small, treatable breast cancers, is key to moving forward and continuing progress for patients.

With many new and exciting frontiers the past year in women’s health – automated breast ultrasound, MRI, 3D mammography – figuring out new ways to best utilize these technologies will pave the way for the future of patient care. Tune in to hear #seeFWD expert, Dr. Joe Russo, russo310, on why women should be confident and excited about the future of breast health and care.
Lots of activity surrounding gehealthcare at #RSNA14 #SeeFWD
Meet our second all-star #seeFWD panelist, Dr. Joe Russo, section chief of women’s imaging at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Pennsylvania.
In advancing medicine, Dr. Russo is excited about the opportunity to increase access to quality technologies for all patients in an affordable way. At St. Luke’s, Dr. Russo is able to conduct screening mammograms onsite quickly and efficiently and then patients are sent to a central diagnostic center where any supplemental imaging can be handled that same day, saving the patient waiting time and making things more efficient and streamlined for all involved.
