I woke up this morning and Max was gone.. every year for years we’d say “he’s getting so old he can’t keep going” and then he kept going haha he’s lived a really long life even longer than I thought! He came to live in my house when I was 16 that was in 2000 and before that he lived with my uncle for 3 years. He was a rescue so my uncle isn’t sure if he was 1 or 2 when he got him in 1997. We think he’s 26 but he could have been 27! 😱 It’s really amazing that he was able to be with us for so long, not a lot of people have a chance at such a long life with their fur babies. He’s going to be so missed. Whenever Ralph’s goes out of town for work I’d sleep on the couch in the living room so Max can keep me company and I’d feel safe. I’m actually allergic to dogs.. lol it worked out with Max because he hated being pet he preferred to just sit nearby.
