"Could I be what--" Kankuro aske,d turning to face who'd addressed him. He saw Tsubaki's chest glowing and laughed. "Nah, it's probably someone else..." he said, turning around. No one behind him. "Uh..."

And then his own glow caught his attention. He turned back to Tsubaki, smiling nervously. "I... I guess so, huh?"

Kankuro moved his head a bit to let Tsubaki have an easier time near his neck. He gingerly slid his hands under Tsubaki’s shirt, surprised at how soft his kin was underneath his own calloused hands.

His nerves tensed beneath his skin as calloused fingers slid beneath his shirt, air catching as his throat as he suppressed breathy laughter against his neck. His fingertips brushed along the toned skin, pushing bunched fabric upwards.

Kankuro leaned into the kiss, draping his arms around Tsubaki’s waist to keep him close.

As he leaned into the kiss more, his hands followed Kankuro’s arms, deviating to settle briefly at his hips. As their lips parted, his fingers brushed beneath his top cautiously, testing new ground while his lips traced along his jawline.

Kankuro swallowed nervously and nodded. “Yeah kid… go for it. I’m okay with it if you are.” he said, smiling a bit to reassure Tsubaki.

He was still for a moment, then nodded. “Okay.” He sat up for a moment, then leaned in again for another kiss, fingers unweaving from Kankuro’s back.

Kankuro tensed for a brief second and then shivered, letting out a slight moan at the kiss. He tried to play it off as nothing, but he could still feel the warm tingle from the kiss when it was over.

His fingers curled at Kankuro’s back, clutching at the fabric as he pulled away, turning his head slightly to sigh against the brunette’s shoulder. “Do you… want to? I mean… is it really okay?”

Kankuro smiled and hesitantly wrapped Tsubaki in a hug. “Me too.” he said, using the embrace to hide his blush again.

He returned the hug, squeezing tight, as if he didn’t quite believe what was happening. His head dropped against Kankuro’s shoulder again, butterflies in his chest as he turned his head to press his lips to the other’s neck.

"Oh no, I’ve been listening." he said, nodding quickly. He bit his lip and then stopped when he realized that their kiss had messed up his facepaint and he’d gotten it in his mouth. "Uhm… n-no, it’s not just you…"

“It’s not?” Relieved, he leaned forward a bit, resting his forehead against Kankuro’s, making note of the way he bit his lip. He managed a smile. “I’m glad.” He sighed. “Really… glad.”

Kankuro blinked in surprise and felt himself turning red as well. “You… you do?” he asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. “I-I mean, it’s okay, of course I just… didn’t expect you to…” he shook his head. “I sound so stupid…”

The teen breathed a sigh, half laughing. “You think you sound stupid?” It seemed they were both nervous. “I’m not sure if you’ve been listening to me…”Another sigh, this time to steady his composure. “Is it… just me, or?”

Kankuro couldn’t help but laugh a bit. “Tsubaki, it’s okay.” he assured him, his tone a bit lighter after seeing Tsubaki so embarrassed. He pulled Tsubaki’s face up to show him his smile. “It’s fine, trust me. We don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to.” he assured the other. “It’s fine.” he repeated.

His embarrassment had nearly brought him to tears. By the time Kankuro, guided his face to meet his eyes, his vision was abit blurred. “Ah — that’s not it…” He trailed off, growing increasingly embarrassed. “I want to… I mean —” his lips pressed tight together. “Of course I want to.”

Kankuro looked confused and a bit saddened that the kiss had ended so suddenly. “It’s okay.” he assured Tsubaki, putting a hand on his back gently. He was going to tell him it was just a kiss, nothing to be worried about, and then he noticed what Tsubaki was getting so flustered over. “O-oh…”

Kankuro’s nervousness started to fade when Tsubaki’s tongue met his own, so he’d pulled the other closer and used their positions to his advantage and deepened the kiss.

Kankuro hesitated again, his heart beating just as much as Tsubaki’s, before he wrapped his arms around the other’s waist to pull him closer. He slowly parted his lips, allowing Tsubaki entry.

He wasn’t being rejected. That in itself was a relief. Tongue slipping between parted lips, it twined with his, tension squeezing down his throat as they met. His breathing was ragged, chest meeting Kankuro’s as he was pulled just a little closer; he could feel Kankuro’s heart hammering in unison with his own. If they ever pulled back, it would be too soon.

Kankuro's nervousness started to fade when Tsubaki's tongue met his own, so he'd pulled the other closer and used their positions to his advantage and deepened the kiss.

Feeling encouraged, he leaned in a little more, hands slipping from Kankuro’s cheeks so his arms could loop around his neck. Hesitantly, his tongue swiped along the other’s lips. His heart pounded furiously in his chest, fingers trembling with nervousness and chest clenched. His tongue prodded, requesting entry. Still straddling his hips, Tsubaki shifted closer to him. 

Kankuro hesitated again, his heart beating just as much as Tsubaki's, before he wrapped his arms around the other's waist to pull him closer. He slowly parted his lips, allowing Tsubaki entry.

"Uhm…" he swallowed thickly. "I-if you want, I mean…"

“Alright… well — um..” He shifted only slightly at first as he began moving in, but as he realized how nervous he was growing, he closed the remainder of the distance between them all at once, pressing their lips together very delicately, so their skin barely touched.

"Uh… Yeah, Tsubaki?" he asked, forcing himself to remain composed and not blushing.

He swallowed, suddenly incredibly nervous. “Um… do you think I could… you know — kiss you again? I mean, for real this time.”

"Uhm..." he swallowed thickly. "I-if you want, I mean..."
