real tired of hearing the vegan vs. omnivore arguments when the real superior diet in terms of both cruelty and ecosystem is locally sourced

beef and pork from a farm 10 minutes away from you is more ethical and less detrimental to the environment than quinoa grown in ecuador. the future is food forests. the green revolution is food forests. if we manage to survive this apocalyptic hellscape all of your food, plant and animal, is going to come from within half an hour of where you live. plant a vegetable garden in the meantime

“for me, i would have to say it’s the people that listen to our music and they always come up to us and say ‘your music saved my life, i listen to you guys when i’m sad or when i’m happy’. that’s just...i think everybody would agree that’s one reason, and the only reason we do music is to connect with other people. share our emotions with their emotions, so we can get healed by doing that. it’s like a little therapy session. that’s like the one important thing. not the sales, not how good maybe the song came out or didn’t come out. it’s more about how many people listened to it and said ‘you know what, i could actually listen to this and feel a certain feeling’.”

some on-campus snaps :) it’s only my second day on campus and I’m falling in love with it more and more as the first day of quarter approaches. I know it’ll probably eventually wear off, but as for now I just feel lucky to be here. I’m far away from home, but exploring new grounds has never felt more exciting.
