I've finally finished watching Poldark season 5 after a long break, and I already miss watching it.

I enjoyed the series finale a lot and thought it was consistent with everything that had happened throughout the previous seasons. One thing I really liked in season 5 was George Warleggan. Despite everything he did to harm Ross, I could see that there was good in him. And what a great actor Jack Farthing is.

The entire cast of this series is amazing. Each actor fit their respective characters well. I love you Aidan Turner. I love you, Jack Farthing. And Gabriella, and Luke, and Eleanor...

Poldark is definitely on my list of favourite television shows. It will always come to mind whenever I want to watch something to warm my heart.

I need to talk about my two favorite 'freaks' from TV - Eddie Munson (Stranger Things) and Hunter Sylvester (Metal Lords)

They are two young metalheads that deal with bullying in different ways. Eddie likes to tease, but shows he is more receptive (maybe?) than Hunter, who is more aggressive and kinda controlling. But besides being metalheads and playing guitar and D&D, they have something else in common which is their love for their friends and how they look after them (even though Hunter doesn't always shows that).

I would love to see them doing something together. I think they would have some kind of beef at first - they would fight to see who knows more about heavy metal and who is the leader of the outcasts - but would turn out to be good friends.

After having time to reflect on what happened this season, I decided to share my thoughts on Stranger Things 4  *Spoilers*

The darker tone and Nightmare on Elm Street references were amazing, and went well with the series. The actors are getting better and better at playing their parts, and they have excellent chemistry together. I wish I had seen more of the California crew, and I didn’t like that they were separated from the rest of the group. Also, the Russia subplot was a little boring. As for the soundtrack, the songs used were spectacular, especially (no surprise here) Running Up the Hill, Separate Ways, and Master of Puppets. The music from season 4 was the best of the entire series and is among the best in television history.

Now on to the star of the season... Eddie Munson

Even though he only appeared in one season, Eddie was fantastic in it, and his role was so endearing that he has become one of the most loved characters and, although I've adored Will Byers from season 1 episode 1, Eddie managed to beat him as my favourite character. Another thing I loved was his interaction with Dustin; in my opinion, it was superior to that of Dustin and Steve. I believe their bond was more one of friendship and connection than with Dustin and our favorite babysitter. And considering how much I adore Dustin and Steve, that's saying a lot. And the scene when he is playing Metallica!? It is one of the best scenes of all time and one that I will always remember. He put on a hell of a show.

Now let me talk about the Duffer brothers' famous cowardice. They simply don't have the guts to kill a main character. Hopper was supposed to have died in that explosion and survived, and now Max. She has been put into a coma because, somehow, she will “come back to life" in the final season. We all anticipated Eddie would be the new Bob and Alexei since killing off a new character is their speciality. Plus, they should speak less during interviews because they promised there would be bloodshed, a body count, and the deaths of main characters at the end of this season, but none of those things happened (unless they considered Eddie to be a main character, which I do not think so, because Jason and the rest who died clearly were not).

Regarding Eddie's death, I thought it was unnecessary and pointless. I think, even if he had to die, it could have been different (like saving Nancy, Steve and Robin). I don’t believe death was the only option for him, and that is why I thought the writing was somewhat lazy. As Dustin explained to Mr. Munson on one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking scenes of the series (I sobbed so hard), Eddie died to save a city that hated him and many still believed he was a murderer and the reincarnation of the devil. It was not fair because he had such a beautiful soul. His death was in vain. Not to mention that only Dustin and Mr. Munson were sad about his death. Anyway, they did Eddie dirty. And what makes me sad is that he had so much potential. It would be perfect to have him in season 5, and Joseph would undoubtedly deliver another show. And to be quite honest, Stranger Things has never had as much hype as it had this season, and Eddie Munson was the main reason for that. Metalheads from all over the world felt incredibly well represented once in their lives, people started listening to rock music because of him, everyone on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram was (and still is) talking about him, commenting on the various theories about what music he would play, people who had never seen the series started watching because of him. In episode 9, his name had more than 500k mentions on Twitter. Max's "death" didn't even come close (I wonder why). Anyway, Eddie was the star in season 4, and my lovely metalhead will always be missed because he was flawless from beginning to end. Thank you, Joseph!

Just because Joseph said in a interview "I'll be furious if they don’t bring me back. I'd love too, if they'll have me." doesn't mean he won't die. I believe he is just saying that he would like to return to the show, even if it was just in someone's mind.

I think that when Eddie said "this year is my year" was a way for the Duffers to say that he would not live.

I really want to believe Eddie the Banished will live and will meet Will the Wise (I want to see that so bad. They are my fave) but I'm not optimistic about this finale.

P.S. I'm seeing so many people, especially on Twitter, saying that no one should be sad if Eddie die because he is a coward and no one will miss him. Eddie did what most people would do in that situation. He knows what he saw and no one would believe him, so he ran. He is one of the most humane character on the show. He gives people that are bullied for being different some kind of comfort. Why wouldn't I miss him? He is without a doubt one of the best characters on the show and he did all that in just one season.

I don't want Eddie to die. It would be unfortunate for such a fascinating character to die on his first season.

The Duffer brothers will do him dirt if they kill him, and that would be a win for all those fuckers trying to hunt him down just because he listens to rock music and plays D&D. Just because he happens to be different from the rest of the town. Plus, I disagree when people say that this is the only possible ending for him. In my opinion, it would be much more interesting if he was arrested at the end of episode 9 and spent two or three episodes of season 5 trying to prove his innocence. And it would also show how dangerous the Satanic Panic in the 80s were, especially for people that liked rock music.

Eddie Munson would undoubtedly contribute significantly in the decisive battle against the Upside Down.
